I am not in the least bit worried about Jodi spinning her tales about Travis being a pedophile or whatever crap she comes up with. In fact, I'm kind of glad that she is going to such extremes because it shows so clearly the depth of Jodi's depravity. Any compassion points she may have scored with jurors will be erased.

Juan will handle this testimony and show the jurors just what a depraved, lying, lowlife Jodi is by stooping to this victim smearing -- as if brutally murdering him wasn't quite enough.

Of this, I am CERTAIN...and the suspense is killing me! Good things come to those who wait.... :rocker:

IIRC, when she tried to get a plea deal, it read like a threat: Accept this plea deal or I will smear him in court.

Disgusting. And Nurmi. On one hand, he's doing his job, on the other, I hate how he's doing it. Loathe it. My opinion is he can't stand Jodi, but he is doing his job, trying to save her from the needle.

IMO

IS replayed the 911 call. The operator asked if they knew who did it. Right away, the caller said it was the stalker who slashed TA's tires.

  • #125
Arias was lying :liar:

I think she was trying to make it possible that someone ELSE did the tire slashing imhoo...

good luck with that arias

Good point! She lies so much that I must be subconsciously blocking out some of her lies for the safety of my own brain! :D

Beth said she is allowed to tell all of her story (story being the operative and her downfall too imhoo)

**I just typed something else but I had to erase it and I am sitting on my hands****

LOL this made me laugh, and you're a MOD :-) I'm doing A LOT of deleting before I click on submit reply :-) And it's still early, I think this is going to be a very hard day!

just a little "Thank You" for all you do !!!!

QUAnd my favorite Nurminism.."Perhaps Mr. Searcy would like to consult an attorney"...and what followed!

I am so looking forward to Juan Martinez getting hold of her. He is my new favorite prosecutor. Looking at the pyramid/triangle graphic posted above just reminds me of some of Juan's moments that have just cracked me up.

My favorites:

It's not like he said, 'We need to get down, baby', right?

Asking Lisa if she, in her youth and naivety, thought Travis should have controlled his penis "getting big"

When Wilmott says "Objection, are we still on the hard drive" and Juan, without even blinking says, "No, we're not" and just keeps on with his presentation - doesn't even dignify Wilmott's objection by waiting on a ruling from the judge. He was so clearly thinking, "Keep up, you moron"

And of course his repeated display of the horrible autopsy photo and/or nasty 🤬🤬🤬🤬 pics of Jodi, asking witnesses - did she tell you about thiiiiissssssss?

I had never heard about this murder before now, well in the last little while from WS.
She has been jailed for 4 years plus now. That is a long time to wait for a trial, however too bad Jodi. So my point is, I guess that is the reason why the Juror's may have not heard about this case. I don't recall it on MSM before.
At least she has had the opportunity to 'warm up' in jail for the rest of her L I F E!

IIRC part of the reason it took so long to get to the trial is because at one point she wanted to represent herself and then her next defense attorney had themselves taken off her case. I don't know the specifics, but it wasn't the state's fault.

Actually, I'm curious now about how that all went down. Can someone who knows more clarify please?

BBM

It would be hilarious if the situation weren't so tragic. She realised she was over her head. Just think if she hadn't. I'm just imaging studious, pseudo-lawyer Jodi, pushing her glasses up, challenging Juan. Haha...

Jodi seems to have absolutely NO filter and seems to be so narcissistic that she actually thinks that people are interested in what she is saying. When she starts talking about "body parts" at the The Human Body exhibition, she doesn't seem to have any idea that she is sitting on the stand testifying in her death penalty case because she is smiling and acting like it's all just some fun conversation between her and her buddy, Nurmi.

Her smile makes me want to slap it off of her sharkish face!

IMHO, Jodi's credibility or lack therein of, is key to the entire trial. Most states have an instruction about witness credibility.

Most that I have heard indicate that the jury must establish a witness's credibility. If they find the witness NOT to be credible about any part of their testimony, they may disregard ALL the testimony.

The jury may also find some testimony credible and other testimony not credible.

I'm sure a real attorney could back this up.

So, what I Juan to see is our super-hero make most of her credibility (if she already has any) just "go away" to the point where the jury will not believe anything she said.

I so hope that he will also pile on witnesses that destroy her credibility further.

Good morning everyone!!:seeya:

It's been a long weekend for me, I was so waiting for Monday, can't wait to see JA dig herself yet deeper.

I am hoping Juan can get his turn by at least by midweek, we're getting closer. . .:great:

Hey Really?,
Where did you get that juan-derful jacket?

I *love*it*

Good morning, dear friends! I am "working" all week (as usual), so I will be trying to keep up without being discovered today. (You know...minimize, maximize, minimize, maximize, mute, unmute, etc., etc.) Thanks for the updates and transcription! It helps me keep my job!

Ha!! I am in the same boat. I cannot even watch anything at home. I only have one tv at home - I know the only one in the world with only one tv. The hubs says, 'what is there to read and/or watch - isn't it cut and dry?'.
LOL!!! I wish it was totally cut and dry.

Thanks to everyone that posts- that way I can indiscreetly stay updated.

The jury doesn't know yet about all JA's lies after the crime. They know about the one where she said no jury would convict her. Not the 'ninja' one YET.

Does anyone know for sure what happened in that closed door meeting with the judge? Is it certain that she made a decision to allow the defendant to accuse her victim of pedophilia?

How would the media know about what happened in judge's chambers one way or another? Unless, if true, the defense or the prosecution leaked info on purpose?

The judge unsealed it.

Once the judge made the decision to allow it, the minutes of the hearing were released, is my understanding.

It seems that's what the closed meeting was about. The Judge is going to let in that Jodi walked in on Travis masturbating to little boy pics... It's discusting... I feel so bad for the Alexander family... :(
