When does live testimony start today? I'm getting some chores done before I tune in to In Session. I ran the oven cleaner last night and plan to wipe out the residue when Jodi takes the stand. Dirty job, but someon'es got to do it

I comfort myself that the moral reason is that if the judge didn't allow it, then Travis' family would have to suffer a trial all over again.

If there was a need to hurry this along, the Judge has the option to jump in to allow/not any testimony. Since this is a fight for JA's life, maybe the Judge is allowing more leeway than usual? But, then, it's not usual for the defendant to testify like this. JA is claiming defense from abuse and she's the only one who can give the testimony to back that up. I've seen/heard nothing to lead to that conclusion, though.

IMO, we are in an age of '50 Shades' and the sexual adventures she has described sound totally consensual.

thats whats getting me...after the rave reviews of that "book" and hearing everyone going out to purchase items and try different things-they are pegging this as "dievant" behavior--perhaps 20 or years ago...but if consenting adults ??????? :banghead:

in the video I posted on the last thread (they were reading the court docs) the abuse expert, Laviolette, testified that this was the turning point of the relationship/abuse and that jodi has a right to talk about it

and that LaViolette's testimony will back it up (re: why she killed him)

so we are only JUST getting started with the worst of what is to come folks.

I had a weird dream that when Juan got up to cross-exam Jodi, he stood, buttoned his coat, walked up to her and punched her in the face. Then he sat back down.

we have to remember that nothing else is backing up her lies about Travis. Nothing.

think of the defense witnesses so far:

Freeman bro and sis: ended up saying they were chaperones so Travis didn't have to be alone with her and that Jodi went off when someone else touched her backpack (explosive personality eh?)

brewer: anal sex and gas cans and planning to go to arizona need I say more

Nothing else backs up what she is saying!


Lisa: travis was a nice guy and never forced himself on her (recall the jury questions?)

poor abused jody and she was attacked... what backs that up?

Burns: not this defense witness he says the sexually aggressive, grinding, Arias had six pack abs and cuts on her knife wielding hand from a fictitious accident

and not the other female witness: who said Jodi was just like her same old self and had never mentioned anything bad about Travis.

I dont know how much more I can watch of her dragging TA thru the mud! I might just avoid watching until the State is up to the plate. This is getting so much like soap opera.. She is a sick sick person :furious:

I pray for TA's family to have strength to get them through the next few days of her fairy tales....

I am not in the least bit worried about Jodi spinning her tales about Travis being a pedophile or whatever crap she comes up with. In fact, I'm kind of glad that she is going to such extremes because it shows so clearly the depth of Jodi's depravity. Any compassion points she may have scored with jurors will be erased.

Juan will handle this testimony and show the jurors just what a depraved, lying, lowlife Jodi is by stooping to this victim smearing -- as if brutally murdering him wasn't quite enough.

I agree with you but I really feel for his family. There are people out there who want to believe the worst of Travis and I think are looking for anything to say AHA, however few that is it must hurt for them.

This was talked about on the Travis facebook page. Its NOT TA! Those pics were not on his phone or on his computer. I believe 1000000000000% that that is Darryl!
NO doubt in my mind.
