She had the courage to break off a 4 year long live in relationship, but not to break up with Travis.

I think she thought of the 4 yr breakup as just upgrading to a better, newer model.

omg really? still on direct examination? zzzzz

  • #963
So, she tells Travis that she invaded his privacy by reading his text messages on his phone... and his response is to apologize?

  • #964
Don't they practice the testimony? Not that I want Jodi to come across as more credible, but all this jumping and contradicting (Utah? Ohio?) and those weird ways of putting things (I felt justified...)
I always thought that attorneys would tell their clients not only what to say, but how to say it (not to mention to keep their answers short to minimize the chance of getting tangled up in contradictions).
This is so tedious.

"his phone was the source of the problem"

Who talks like this???

And there you go, she just said she was justified in invading his privacy because of what she found. (i.e. He deserved it because he was unfaithful)

Just like she believes she was justified in murdering him because he deserved it ..

I couldn't have said it any better myself.

She completely feels justified in killing Travis and not because it was self defense. I think she really feels that Travis deserved to be killed.

official couple now over

whatever that means.. I don't think he ever thought Jodi was anything official

Well, maybe an official stalker, lol.

wilmotts's not wearing glasses - distancing herself from JA?

this is insane in the membrane.

my brain actually tuned out

It perked up briefly when Juan did voir dire but really... where is this going.

Low self esteem my:butthead:

"I had really low self esteem at that time"

She has no idea what that means or feels like. She is feeding lines for her DV expert to opine on.
Along with he promised to change. Classic honeymoon phase.

I know I was complaining that her account was so atypical for abuse she should've read a book or two. I think she did. ;)

He called for dirty talk, but I didn't hang up on him because he wasn't being mean? :waitasec:

  • #971
He was apologetic after she told him she went through his phone :waitasec:... But he was abusive, right?

"I'm so sorry I cheated on you and that you went through my phone to gain that "cursed knowledge."" said no (abusive) man ever! :giggle:

That would be the time the "abusive" guy would make a fist. This is outside reality.

I wish I knew what the jury is thinking right now.

I wonder that also. I was talking to the Boytoy last night and he reminded me: JM needs 12 jurors to agree, JA needs ONE to disagree. Sad, but true.

This victim nonsense is something else, as is the little pale yellow sweater with the tidy little bow.

  • #974
"He promised to change"

^^ More quoting from the DV handbook

  • #975
there is no way she broke up with him.

  • #976
" I wouldn't have hung up on him...he wasn't being mean or anything.."

Nurmi sounded aggravated that she said that.

  • #977
"he wasn't being meeeaaan to me"

(why she wouldn't hang up on the phone sex call)

now explain why you recorded the man arias

  • #978
Is Juan still going to get paid because Nurmi is doing his job!

  • #979
The day after on the phone when this man was trying to talk sexual to you....Jodi wimps out and tells us again about her low self esteem. The day after they broke up Travis called talking sexy which kind of made her feel better. He promised to change and she believed him. She continued to be intimate with him. At first she didn't know what to say, but... It made her feel good that Travis still desired her. She stayed on the phone with him. He might've been in Temecula.

I wonder if the jury flinched when she said 2007 and thought oh hell this will never end.
