I could talk about dogs and pets all day, I know there's a pet forum downstairs but I've never been. Your boy looks like such a love, is he a lab? He sounds like a big ole softy.

My girl is a rescue too, she was found wandering the streets, tiny little precious baby. When I went to the shelter to see if we were a good fit, my heart melted and fortunately she picked me She brings so much joy. Dogs are special like that.

JMO - victims of crime, illness, or injury can benefit greatly by being around dogs, whether it's their own or a therapy dog. My pups have helped me through the darkest times and recently for example, I saw the golden retrievers visit Newtown to provide comfort for their community after the school shootings.

Sorry this was O/T too, but pets are so good for the soul!

Hes a lab mix and he's my (unofficial) therapy dog - still going through heck/ptsd after a horrific divorce (stalking, every form of legal -ugh- abuse which I call torture - parts of this trial makes me shiver) and a near fatal car crash... My Z-man is wonderful for me...

Hes good with kittens, children, other dogs... birds on the other hand, not so much - he caught a mourning dove in mid-flight once though. Yikes. I was warned that he could jump a high fence (not) and that he'd run (he got out the front door somehow and stayed on the front walk for about an hour). He'd make a great official therapy dog - I wish I could take him everywhere - it'd help me get out more. He'd be great at hospitals/nursing homes if I could ever get him certified.

I'm so glad your girl found you! I'm so glad she wasn't hit by a car! Sometimes I think how nice it would be if Zander was a little more "compact" as HE thinks he's a lap dog!

I love dogs... they are good souls AND good for our souls... Okay now we have to stop o else nursebeeme will get out her needle!

Right. Everyone is different. I'm a survivor and I'm not angry. Not even slightly. The experience taught me a lot and I'm much happier now. I chalk it up to a lesson learned the very hard way. I'm sure I wouldn't appear angry or cry if I were testifying about it now, many years after the fact. Especially if I'd had nothing but time to think about it in meantime.

I'm not angry at him any longer either. I'm ambivalent which is where I find the most powerful position to be for me.

Until I begin recounting events. Then the emotions run rampant whether I want them to or not. Mind you, it's only been since 2008 that he's been incarcerated and I relocated here.

Tigerbalm, every time I see your avatar of Travis giving Napoleon a smooch it feels like someone punched me in the gut. He could be my son, anybody's son. I see a normal, great guy with his whole life ahead of him. A guy who loved his friends, family and his dog. I have such seething hatred for JA I'm beginning to question if it's even healthy for me to keep watching the trial.

JM will clear it up. There is LESS than zero chance Travis ever looked at or had any interest in boys/child porn. There is not a man on earth that has looked at it, likes it, M's to it and yet, wow, not 1 image, not one search term on the browser of either his smart phone or his computer.

You can't erase that history. So in a sense this proves one thing, we know he never looked at child porn and Jody Arias is a liar.

Just had the thought....I would (almost) love to see Juan spend 4+ days with her on cross examination. Start her at the beginning and demand she work her way through again all the way, and every little tiny insignificant detail. No way could she tell the same tales twice the same way.
