I'm way behind most of you - how did the existance of these tape(s) become known? Did the police find them during the investigation, or did the DT/Jodi offer them up on their own?

I suspect Jodi provided it to her defense after she came up with the story of abuse and self defense in 2010...two years after the murder.

Interesting thread to make my debut post on, haha. I've been following this trial for a while. I think we're getting to see authentic Jodi today, as she's hearing this tape on the stand. Her disappointment is palpable as it really appears she did not believe the full tape would be played in court.
