This is the very first time I have ever seen JA upset… Ever.

She had definitely been crying, not as a jury show, and she had been in chambers. Would she have had to preview what she was going to say about the murder for some reason, and gotten herself all worked up? I don't believe for a minute that she is going to take a plea, or that she would be crying about it if she did.

OH far out!!! Now I'm up and nothing to do for HOURS!!! What time is it there? Like how many hours until 1pm?

It's 11:30 am at the court house.

I don't think it is a plea..if it was then why did JM tell TA's family not to react during her testilying (thanks to a previous poster using that word :) ) about the murder? either the tapes won't be admitted and she wants to relive them and mad that she can't or they are dealing with her lying on the stand about the finger.

Don't these people realize I planned very carefully for this day? The bread rising and cooking times are going to clash with trial time. damnit, damnit to hell
inconsiderate...
:)

So, nothing to do except shove paper off my desk and see if it sails around in a chaotic pattern like paper so often does....

We don't know a thing. Basically, we waited and waited. Then, JA came out, arms crossed and obviously had been crying, jury came in and then dismissed for lunch. That's it.

I do think we have to remember that this is the first time she showed emotion - not at being arrested, not after the murder, not after anything terrible. To me, it is apparent she cries and gets upset at different things than those that would upset most people. So, it is hard to speculate.

if she is the psychopath I think she is she was confronted with something she didn't like and is angry:twocents:

1:00 there so does that mean 3:00 EST? I always get confused on Arizona time

What am I missing? People keep talking about LWOP. As far as I have understood this is NOT something that JM is going to give in to. Why do people keep saying this. She cannot "cop" to a plea now because a plea is not on the table once the trial has started...is it? Very confusing because I don't see JM as letting this one go.

A plea deal can be reached at any point until the jury reaches a verdict. A plea deal is just a possibility being speculated about.

Was the jury in the courtroom while JA was there? I am hoping so. I want them to see the difference in when she REALLY cries and when she FAKE cries!!! :floorlaugh:

I think Juan's discussion about telling the family not to react to the testimony is probably strategic more than anything

Did she testify yet this morning? I just logged on for a moment and saw her trying to look teary eyed and now there is a break. Any updates for a poor soul?
That was it, gitana - you didn't miss a thing.

Do you think this could be a LWOP plea deal? That's what I'm leaning towards...
The judge did say a very important matter had come up... Jody was visibly upset nose swollen - for realz thi time :) - the very first time it looked authentic to me...

I wonder if the jury sent the judge a note asking her to make it stop..they've had enough.

I think perhaps Jodi wanted to take a LWOP deal and then the prosecution talked to the family who said NO way ....we want to see her die!

No she wanted to cop to manslaughter with 20 yrs jmo

I'm thinking that they want to play the tape. D wants to play a snippet of the tape (you know the part that makes TA sound like a pedo) but Juan wants the whole tape played... JA is crying... "My whole family is in the court room...." I don't know why thats just what I think. I don't think a deal is in the works here.

No, court started an hour late then we saw JA crying (real tears this time) and the jury came in and the judge sent them away to lunch. That was literally it. Very strange.

Yes she was none too happy.

Personally I felt this tape should have never been allowed in because she taped it in California. He did not give her permission we all can count on that.

IMO

NOW we have something to compare it to when she pretends to cry. Quite a different look, isn't it?

  • #319
No. It's 11:28 A.M. here in AZ.

Cheers .. thanks for that .. so that's not too bad.

I wonder if her lawyers told her all the Travis was a monster testimony went over with the public like a lead balloon and betting odds have almost completely flatlined .. she'd put all her ebay money onto 'DP' and now it looks like even if she loses the trial there'll be no return on her art investment.
