Well, that could be something. Isn't it against the rules for an attorney to elicit testimony that they know to be false?
I suppose she would testify during cross that she was lying in the ninja story about her finger, but then shouldn't the defense attorney have asked her about that? I don't know, not an attorney.

I think the judge just admonished her again and maybe defined purjury for her. I think poor little Jodi got in trouble and needs time to get it together.

I don't know about TA's family requesting it, but I think this may be under discussion. That would explain her crying if she's being encouraged to take a plea.

Who knows. This is a fiasco.

I don't think Jodi wants to take ANY plea that won't give her the chance to get out of prison some day. But her attorneys must be advising that the jury WILL convict her of 1st degree murder and that with all her bashing of Travis there is a high likelihood that they will give her death. So I'm sure they told her it's a huge gamble to take this all the way and possibly get a death sentence.

Remember when Casey came out crying and mad (I mean REALLY crying) it was because her attorney's were trying to get her to plead out.

I think possibly maybe the same thing is happening now.

they keep saying on HLN that the delay has to do with the phone sex call, but didn't they take a half of a day last week to deal with the call??? or maybe it was the week before.

is it possible that the judge wants to see some of the footage from yesterday? If the reaction of the family was being discussed and then she called in the media liason... just a thought.

I'm thinking that they want to play the tape. D wants to play a snippet of the tape (you know the part that makes TA sound like a pedo) but Juan wants the whole tape played... JA is crying... "My whole family is in the court room...." I don't know why thats just what I think. I don't think a deal is in the works here.

I dont think she cares that her family is there when she recites her sexual stories.

She had definitely been crying, not as a jury show, and she had been in chambers. Would she have had to preview what she was going to say about the murder for some reason, and gotten herself all worked up? I don't believe for a minute that she is going to take a plea, or that she would be crying about it if she did.

When I really sob, my face swells up like a balloon the next day. Maybe this is a result of her crying last night. I do wonder if there may be a plea deal being discussed for LWOP. That would make her cry.

No a 2nd degree murder plea was rejected by the state. Jodi wouldn't plead to anything more than 2nd degree murder. The state hasn't presented her with any pleas that we are aware.

After yesterday's testimony of accusing TA of being a pedophile I bet maybe TA's family wanted to entertain the idea of LWOP to save Travis from further humiliation.

I'm not convinced any deal is possible during this state of the game but...I don't know. We will see.

I think the "finger" issue--catching her in a bold face lie--may be the impetus to try to get a last-minute plea deal.

There will be no plea deal.

'St. Jodi of Arias' is an accomplished, pathological liar.

Moreover, she is a pre-meditating, cold-blooded murderess who is an ongoing danger to society.

Or will they go to lunch, then come back and work on their issue? This court doesn't seem to give a carp about these poor jurors. If I was on this jury, I would quit, I'd get pneumonia or something...

You can't quit, lol. They are told to bring things to do. It's not as if they are sitting there looking at each other. I know when I was on the jury I got to know people pretty well because all of them had stories to tell about personal experiences, not related to the case, just general things to talk about. And the last week we all had lunch together at different restaurants. You have to look at it as you are doing your civic duty so it really does not matter what you are doing as long as you are listening when you are in that courtroom. jmo
