She looked like an oversexed manipulator keeping a guy on the phone that couldnt even stay awake.

I totally agree. I'm really puzzled right now as to why defense pushed playing this tape. IMO, this tape blew her entire story right out of the water.

She claims to have just put up with his sexual demands and on the tape she is so happy about his stamina! This tape was the best thing that could be done for the prosecution. :waitasec:

This is what I've taken away from this. Travis made her feel like a Goddess. Jodi has insecurities about her body and Travis builds her up, telling her she is beautiful and sexy. Travis is extremely complimentary and even seemed to be protective of her. Jodi makes negative comments about herself and Travis refutes every one of them, building her up.

No, Travis probably isn't drunk. My boyfriend's voice get gravelly and his words slur when he's dog tired late at night on the phone, too.

But what I'm troubled by is Jodi KNOWS he's tired as heck, but she doesn't care. She only cares about herself and keeps yacking and yacking, to keep him on the phone. Selfish!

Friendship with this girl is abusive: she's too need and just can't let go of the "teat." All that phoney flattery in that bubbly, childlike voice is sickening.

Is she bi-polar, swinging from the highest-high (chit-chatty nonsense singing after midnight) to the lowest-low (murder)? She sounds so Up! Up! UP!!! that she must be in a manic high state, like is 10 a.m. after drinking two pots of strong coffee. Meanwhile, Travis is clearly about to pass out and start snoring.

She tried waaaay too hard. That's part of the reason he was turned-off from a serious relationship. Sad.

Respectfully, I believe she is just an abusive, sadistic psychopath and many of her actions are consistent with one. Including keeping him awake when anyone who truly cared for him would be encouraging him to have a conversation when he wasn't so tired. JMO

Interesting to see Jodi's sister, Angela, in the court room today.

Travis came across as a normal guy.
She, on the other hand recorded that conversation as part of her grand scheme of premeditation. Somehow in her warped mind she believes that tape helped her?

It showed the jury like no other testimony could what a normal guy Travis was.
