Does anyone ever read over on the Jodi is innocent site? Read the comments from posters to see what "the other side" thinks of the days court proceedings? I wonder sometimes if there might be one or more jury members that think the way those posters do. It worries me when I read things like how some people think Jodi is coming across as earnest, articulate, bright and normal. That some people think Jodi is doing well on the witness stand and that her tone and affect are right on. They also hate Juan with a passion, calling him a horrid prosecutor but as long as Jodi keeps telling HER truth then she should be okay when decision time comes. I just haven't seen any of that in any of Jodi's testimony but who's to say that someone on the jury does see it? I certainly hope that the jury is seeing through Jodi's lies and don't let this killer walk free.

I don't think we are allowed to talk about this place.....

Its very scary to imagine it even exists though isn't it?

For those still asking about Ester.

yep, I seen that you posted that earlier! thank you! I was in the kitchen when she said it and came running back to the computer, glad I heard it correctly the first time.

It's my belief that Esther is definately a woman.... Just wondering if anyone has been able to connect an Esther to Travis yet. :)

Thanks again.

I'm confused! Travis and Jodi are broken up, he calls her Hun, they have phone sex and are talking about taking trips, he's telling her it's about her, etc.
They sound like a couple to me!

It's hard to stomach it but I've been reviewing parts of the video. I find it even harder to believe that he was dependent upon flattery because he doesn't really respond to most of the compliments. If we want to talk about immaturity, JA DOES sound like a little girl. A gushing little girl with a crush (well, an obsession), gushing profusely and trying to appear willing to do anything so he would "keep" her, gushing so intensely that TA can't even sincerely accept all of the compliments, they are so awkward. It's more "passive" manipulation in a way, trying to make herself irresistible, but it's still manipulation. She sounds so clearly obsessed with him and being so sexually open I don't believe she was accustomed to hearing the word "no." He also sounds really tired, to a level disinterested, but he also compliments her and lets her control the conversation even as he's clearly falling asleep.

It does not appear that she is gushing to appease him (the abuser), it appears that she is gushing to control him.

If you notice his eyes in the pic of him standing in the shower with his head turned slightly towards her, they are wider than they are in his final close up. This is why I have thought he was ticked as his eyes were narrowed and not wide from fear or startle. IMHO

I think it's interesting how many varying opinions everyone has about this one photo of Travis. I think we probably all agree it's haunting because WE know what happened afterwards. But, I don't see fear at all. I see slight annoyance, kind of like c'mon already, let me finish my shower in peace. But not mad, maybe even posing a little bit.

For those still asking about Ester.

On the 48 Hours show one of TA's friends said that "he definitely played the field". I assume that Ester (sp?) was one of his girlfriends and there would be no cause to involve her in a trial. I wonder why Lisa and Mimi were chosen.

Sorry this is from a while ago but I'm trying to catch up. Now JA's narcoleptic when she's really sleepy? It's called sleeping. You're not narcoleptic, you're falling asleep because you're sleepy.

Sometimes when people are taking stimulants (or even meth) they are up for days and then when they eventually fall asleep, they are dead to the world and sometimes for quite a long time.

Could explain how she is so alert so late at night, for the sex calls and for the car trips around the world.

Found this on Facebook:

Wednesday:

10:30am MST - Gus Searcy and Skye Hughes will testify at a sealed hearing.

11am MST - Jurors will return for continued testimony.

Wonder why it will be a sealed hearing. Makes me more suspicious that Gus and Sky were in the car together and maybe there was something going on between them that they do not want public...maybe to spare the feelings of their significant others..to insure domestic tranquility. Let the judge decide if it will be public??

Sky with Gus in a situation that she wouldn't want her husband to know about? Yea, I don't think so but I guess I could be wrong.

I don't have Dish so I can't watch Dr. Drew. Did Casey(?) say what TA's "dark side" was? Kinky premarital sex??

Darn, it was just on but I wasn't paying attention... I'm sorry! But I think so-called 'kinky sex' is what she was referring to. I have a problem with this.

For starters, she has never personally analyzed Travis, so I think such a statement is really irresponsible on her part (and I do agree with her sometimes). Second, as a behavior analyst, lawyer and her doctorate in criminal justice, she seems an odd person to reflect on human sexuality and what does/doesn't qualify as "dark".

I'm a total layperson despite growing up around and raised by mental health professionals/educators (talk about the cray cray! :) ) and took several courses in child development/psychology, so I basically know squat.

I DO know that sexually/mentally healthy adults have an enormous range of fantasies and turn ons.

I've not read but have heard about the 50 Shades series... I know people do all sorts of role-play, dress-up, like handcuffs, restraints, being tied to trees, (Dr. Jordan familiar with Chaucer's Canterbury Tales?) some people like being degraded verbally and otherwise... and some people don't like any of this.

Between consenting adults, none of these things signifies anything 'dark' or bad about their characters when part of a healthy sex life. Nor does disliking wilder stuff signify something wrong, either.

imv, Travis enjoyed raunchy/baudy conversation. He also liked to sing (badly) which I found sadly poignant and endearing.

He also seemed (in that short snippet in time) to be unapologetically critical of other people that (to me) spoke more of frat-boyish immaturity and ignorance than some sort of drastic foreboding of darkness in his soul

Its really sad that MSM gets all googly-eyed about sexual lives that were never meant to be headline news and recklessly analyzed/picked apart by experts who should know better.

Oh I tried to find the Dr.D episode online for you, no luck.

Agreed. She plays the game well.

The game being make HIM feel like he is in charge, but in reality she is manipulating him....after hearing the tapes today I have no doubt that he was somewhat sexually naive pre-Jodi...

The less she started to feel in control, the more she began to resent him (and g*d forbid he would take what he learned from her and use his new-found sexual knowledge to please another (wife-worthy?) woman...:moo::what:)

IMHO....her thoughts boiled down to "he pays for me, but i taught/groomed HIM! I let him do things to me he only ever imagined! Hes *MY* boy-toy....if I cant have him....noone can"....

Yet, later that same day, Travis writes that "you invaded my privacy" in a text/email to her. What's that about?

It's true he sounded more warm towards her than I expected on the phone sex tape, but he was still into having her as a sex buddy, I guess. She stroked his ego constantly, and soothed him so manipulatively that he did not see the red flags or hear the warning bells. All he thought he heard were those hot sounds of Jodi faking it.

I think that if Travis had not dumped Jodi she would have eventually gotten tired of him (like she did with all of the others before him) and moved on to her next victim. Travis is dead because he had the nerve to dump her, and to dump her before she was done with him. There is no love for anyone other than herself when it comes to Jodi. She simply uses a man/person until they are no longer usefull to her. She more than likely thought she had hit the mother load when she found Mormon men since they are possibly more naive than the average male and she could have sexual control over them since they were inexperienced. Unfortunately she failed to realize that true friends would clue Travis in to how she really is.

I think that by this time he was a bit worried about her reactions. But since she was out in California he was not as concerned so he would probably have no problem talking on the phone like this, in an attempt at keeping her at arms length.

I think he was worried about how she would react if he dumped her totally. So maybe this was how he thought he could keep her calm.

 I went on a long search for Esther, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare. I am beaten down and worn out from being in Jodi World for days and days. I've learned way too much, and will avoid ever discussing salad with anyone again.
