Oh, that's horrible. I'm very sad to hear that, Bravo. When my dad was dying of cancer, and started to have pain, I called his doctor and told him I wouldn't stand for it. He told me if he gave him anymore morphine it would kill him. ??? I told him to authorize more morphine because there was no way i was going to allow him to suffer like that in his final days.

He asked me to try something else first, but he agreed to authorize enough morphine to, in essence, kill my dad. Many doctors actually do that when it is a terminal case. They just don;t talk about it.

Luckily, what he asked my to try first worked and my dad died very peacefully.

Sorry to get off topic. Hugs to you bravo. I;m sorry you had to witness that. It's not fair.

Absolutely the Docs do that. Here in Canada as well. Ethical euthanasia. I'm sorry you had a sad journey too :rose: Bad part was what she was being hit with she just didn't go.......Docs couldn't figure it out. So it was 2 weeks of horror. She is up there laughing. Saying i was going when i was dang ready lol. I now how wonderful memories. Making Barbie clothes. Boyfriends. Our weddings and Births. So it's all good. :rose: Thank You again for your kind words. So very sorry you lost your Dad :rose:

WEll I think she wanted only part of it played....the 12 year old girl part. NOT the whole thing and I don't think defense wanted the whole thing played either...IMO.

She may have only wanted part of it played, but I doubt she expected it at all. And certainly not enough to be surprised or upset by it. I'm sure her attorneys advised her that you can't only bring in part of a conversation, document, transcript, etc. You can try to limit it, but there's a very good chance you won't be able to -- especially wrt to the content of that tape.

Because she thinks it's artsy and shows some sort of depth in her work...
(Respectfully snipped)

Newsflash for JA: It's not artsy - it's not even art. It's a bad, blurry photo with bad lighting, bad composition, screamingly loud/obnoxious background, it evokes nothing other than, "oh look - a fuzzy picture of hands - someone must've taken it by accident."

Too harsh? I'm an artist and I guess it's a sore spot with me. I came to AZ to paint full-time (it was that or homelessness in NY) and had my first show (in NY) a few years ago. My work is a mix of being based on some reference images (legally obtained and not simply copied), family photos, done on location or simply from the depths of my brain.

I ended up did seeing a couple of her pieces accidentally - they are as immature as she is... *Artists* don't copy professional studio photographs - except maybe to practice textures, draping, etc. learn from the composition/lighting or creating a likeness study if one wants to do portraits from photos... and never sell commercially as their own.

Her photography is - not. It's picture taking. Average pictures. I have never seen an impressive photo of hers, either... she does mountains of selfies, generic touristy/friends type stuff, and C+ quality high school Intro to Photography stuff (like the chin-lit sepia thing).

Sorry. Rant over... (Not directed at you, SkiptomyLu! Just JA)

"Travis hated his dark side; Jodi loved hers." Casey Jordan (I think!) on Dr. Drew.

Maybe check YouTube for DateLine or the Huffington Post timeline page.

Great idea! I'm embarrassed to have drawn a blank on HP. Doctors wear me out. :) Thanks so much, Linda7NJ...

Presumably this May 10 phone recording was made in the early morning hours -- Travis was obviously very tired and going to sleep.

Later on that same day, Travis sent this text message to Jodi:

"Why don't you have him come and **** you in the woods, I can only imagine you are so worried about me reading. You are paranoid because you have no respect for people privacy and you dare insult me of all people. Someone you should (showed?) through your actions you hate more than love by denying me a human right of privacy countless times. You have a lot of freaking nerve. We are all not like you in that aspect"

She claims that Travis asked her to tape it. Now why would he do that? Trying to keep his love life a secret he's going to ask her to tape it? She called him super human and complimented him a lot. I think most women would have used the tape to set him up as a pedophile or abuser but since that is not the case, I have no idea why she even bothered to tape him.

I can't see any meaing in who asked who to tape it, jmo. I think lots of men would want this and just as many women would do it
It just doesn't show anything, imo, like the defense is trying to insinuate. Huge Fail. jmo

He was JA's "friend"
he loaned her $

Paul Stern didn't get much time to say what he wanted to before they moved on, so he ended up sounding delusional describing Jodi's delusions. Abe, actually on the show, sounded pretty good, IMO. Abe says he thinks about how he could have been the one that got all tangled up with troubled Jodi. He realizes daily he could be dead if he asked for a few more dates.

DrD really does have his team reading here, IMO. Left to his thoughts, DrD would have zero to say.

Wow, I wonder what preceded that text. It sounds as if he's really wounded by what she did.

if he had wanted her to record a phone sex session, why was there so much mundane discourse? wouldn't they have just got to it? seems to me that he had no idea that that conversion was being recorded.

I am really sorry if my post came off to you as me being snarky or rude about your post! After rereading, I can see how it may have come off a bit harsh and I apologize! One of my pet peeves is people putting down other poster's theories or ideas in a rude way, then I inadvertently did it!

No worries! I forgot to put the disclaimer "IMO" on that post. Also, I was too tired(lazy) to go back and find that link. :)

I've read enough of your posts to know you weren't being mean.

I just thought of something else about that tape. Jodi is now claiming that she was just acting, but wouldn't Travis have caught on that she wasn't acting the way she usually acted with him?

From the sound of it, it sounds like Jodi accused him of reading her emails -- probably after he found out she was hacking his facebook.

I think JM's Cross is going to be very repetitive. Yet delightful. "Ms. Arias when you said.....it was a lie? Yes or No. Reply "Yes". That will go on and on and on....... Cue the music. The "Juanettes" are doing the bend and snap :great:

Bend and snap! :floorlaugh:

can this be used in the trial by the prosecution. her taping the call and invading his privacy are huge red flags.
In the bolded part travis really read her for what she was. Someone you showed through your actions you hate more than love by denying me a human right of privacy countless times. You have a lot of freaking nerve. we are all not like you in that aspect....I agree travis, I agree.

Good catch! Either she was an actress all the time or she was lying today.

Did he find out she recorded the call?
Is that what made him mad?
:dunno:

Jodi started taping from the beginning because she knew she was going to direct it towards phone sex. Obviously Travis didn't know and was not expecting that.

There's no way Travis knew that call was being recorded.

Man. I heard that tape and it was the first time I felt confident that jodi is going to get the death penalty. IMO, that tape destroyed her case. It felt like part of the rebuttal case, not the defense. I was stunned.

This tape, to me is like the testimony of the attorney in the Drew Peterson trial. The defense thought it was going to be their shining moment, and it totally was their downfall. jmo:seeya:

Like the faux poke in the Michael Peterson trial.
