Hi Cuckoo, I agree that the overkill may have resulted from how strong TA was. But, I still can't come to understand why it is that she killed him. I'm just not getting that.

Hi Harvest, why is the million dollar question isn't it? I am following this trial and learning more about this defendant as it unfolds. IMO Jodi is a psychopath and nothing matters to Jodi but what she wants, her plans. She wanted Travis. She used sex to bag her prey and when that failed I think she may have tried blackmail (releasing the sex tape to Travis's friends) and threatened him with exposure. She also tried fear, and the stalking.

I think when Jodi realized with the gold digger blog that Travis was willing to risk exposure by hinting about her and how that might escalate with Travis finally telling everyone in the Church about her, she decided he had to go. She could go on to the next guy with her mask of normalcy in place.

I don't see how people see her as a victim of abuse. We only have her word and she is a confirmed liar. when people argue they say nasty things. it doesn't make someone an abuser because they tell you to **** off. arguments can get nasty but claiming someone is a victim of abuse because of things said in a argument is a big yoga stretch.

As an abuse survior it highly pisses me off that this woman who is the abuser pretends she was abused. A male defendant wouldnt get to first base with this claim even if he had really been abused.

I am sick of female defendants using the abuse excuse trying to get away with horrendous murders.:furious:

I have always felt the golddigger post was the turning point as well. She used everything she had in her bag of tricks to hang on to him, but reading that must have made it agonizingly clear that he would never see her as marriage material. In her mind, how dare he? From there, all pre-meditated...
