according to paul sterns, the man she borrowed money from, she killed him in a crime of passion, a mixture of emotions such as rage, disappointment, he said the day she borrowed money from him anyone could see she was having all those emotions. i hope they put him on again to elaborate. i wish someone could have let travis know so he could have got out of there before she came. just thought, strange time to arrive at someones house at 4am, a nice time to sneak in tho if that is what she did.

I wonder if she is going to fake hysterical sobbing or if some of her excitement at what she did will seep out when she finally testifies to that day.

Or, if her hand will bunch up in a fist like she is clutching a knife, as she talks....

What I am saying is that the judge can't address one (JA mom) and not the other (sam) There are a lot of posts on this.
Travis' family are the only ones who have been warned not to make faces etc. JA's family are giggling and talking, but haven't been admonished as far as I'm aware.

I totally agree. Ironically just last week I was lambasting that the relationship she was describing could be in no way even a resemblance of an abusive one.

This week she's using every buzzword possible to highlight the hallmarks of an abusive relationship. The only thing she has yet to say is she FEARED him. She, probably unknowingly, continues to undermine what is probably the ultimate response and reason of victims.

I'm sure she has access to reading materials in jail. There is an over-representation of (real) abuse victims incarcerated. Further who's to say a family member or friend couldn't print out website info and mail it to her.

She's hitting the notes of abuse but without any of the emotional depth, relationship red flags or character traits of either party to make it believable to at least some of us who have actually walked that path. (I don't presume to speak for everyone though so apologies if I unintentionally offend.)

Great post!

When the judge told Jodi to take the stand, we all had to wait as JA was reading the notes on (likely) the points and buzzwords she was expected to recite, including the hair color key point which was clearly cued up for the lunch break.

Does anyone else believe that the Defense is working hard to portray TA as such a deviant pervert that he didn't deserve to live anyway?

And that 'St. Jodi of Arias' did the world a giant favor, though she'll now have to pay some price for her 'brave heroism'?

My theory on what's to come.....

She is going to say she rented a car because hers was having issues and the reason for renting it 90 miles from her home was something silly like she got a better price from that Hertz as compared to the ones near her home. She is going to say she was driving out to Travis' house because he had called her and they were going to try their relationship one more time, she still loved him and blah blah blah. I think the reason they defense team is dragging this out is because they know once they get to the day Travis was murdered Jodi is going to say she doesn't recall exactly what happened, she woke up with a knife in her hand and Travis dead. No details.....from this freak of nature who remembers what she had to drink 5 years ago.

Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias are so similar.

They both try to appear articulate and intelligent and even spiritual while in fact, they exist and thrive on fulfilling the most base desires and will murder in order to satisfy those needs.

Ms Arias please choose from the following valid reasons that cause people to shake:
a) Anger
b) Fear
c) Low blood sugar
d) Neurological disorder
e) Earthquake

AGREE and she took the gun with her because she was going to commit suicide. Or she will say T had the gun .. the gun lie will be interesting actually. I'm sure even if she says it was her gun at one stage she'll lie and put it in Travis' hand.

He reminds me of the lawyer from Chicago - he is going to 'Razzle Dazzle 'em' with the Jodi circus until they are so confused they have no choice but to acquit.

It's so bad it's laughable!

Oh yeah. Every time Jodi climbs back into the witness stand, I hear "The Cell Block Tango". ("He had it coming.....")

Mark my words  Jodi is going to somehow slip in the fact that Ryan Burns was much thinner when they were together (therefore in her shallow, judgmental eyes better looking).

It will be under the guise that that is why it wasn't difficult for her to physically adjust him when he was on top of her.

Make no mistake though, she is the person she described her father as being; "negative and judgmental" about weight, looks, etc.

She can hardly stand for the people on the jury to think she was going after someone who looks like Ryan Burns. I am certain of it.

By the way, I think Ryan Burns is handsome- thin or large- he seemed like a really nice guy, and I thought he was darling just the way he is!

Jodi the martyr. Ugh!

JC and BK just said they believe Jodi opened the door regarding the slashed tires, previously not allowed.

All this junk about Travis abusing her...the jury heard the tape yesterday, where she directed the conversation, telling him what to do. Jodi can't unring that bell, IMO.

Exactly.

When talking about the spats between herself and Travis, she said that's how it would "cycle".

Can anyone say "coached"?

Now, THIS could be a drinking game: JA's DV code words... (Of course I mean no disrespect to true victims - JA is not one. And I take the matter very seriously).

Her testimony should be taken with all the solemnity, respect and trustworthiness it deserves - which is zero).

ETA: I actually have read about DV extensively - from books, websites, scholarly papers, you name it - and I don't talk like this (I may write about it more formally or when talking with a specific person). JA just seems to be using terms dishonestly and that makes me mad).

she makes alot of people MAD
