Is this a lunch break or a "da dessert lady" break ?

Aw, you just made me miss Judge Belvin Perry! That man sure liked his desserts and he was the Host With the Most! :cupcake:

I do believe Jodi was shaking. I think Travis told her she was one sick ***** and to leave him alone.

If she was shaking, it was in anger, IMO. But there probably was no shaking, just something she picked up on in her DV research. Or beginning of a convenient seizure disorder that makes her black out and forget what she's doing.

After she's convicted, someone should send her a pamphlet entitled. "1 Place To See Before You Die."

LMAO great first post! Welcome to WS!!

If I were on the jury, I'd be wondering when Nurmi and Jodi were going to get to the point. This testimony is more of the same, just worded differently. Why rehash what she already testified to?

Yeah. This particular topic (Ryan) has to be covered to explain her visit there after the killing. But this is painful.

It could take her an hour to discuss just renting the car!

e.g., why did you rent the car in Redding? What kind of car did you want? What are your favorite car colors? Let's talk about compact cars. What about sedans? Coupes? Hatch-backs? SUVs are fun. How do you feel about floor mats? Are you concerned with the environment and getting max miles per gallon? What color was your hair? Brown, if so, what shade of brown? Could it have had an ashe blonde hue? When was the last time you had colored your hair? Did you have roots showing?

Oy, then she has to talk about the bank deposits. And then the gas cans. And wal-mart. Did you have any coupons? Had you consiered going to Target?

Then they have to cover why she went to LA (maybe she will renege on that part of her story, ie. about visiting the friend, and just admit going to Travis').

My prediction for how long this testimony will last...

oh dear,, i think she's going to say there was a fight because she was going to see ryan burns jean casarez reported 2 female jurors are watching jodi intensely and taking lots of notes...i hope it's because they are planning on writing a book and not because they are buying her bs.

I hope they are taking note of her lies. She slipped up yesterday on direct after the tape. Previously she had said Pollyanna was one of the 'mean' names Travis called her. Yesterday, when trying to explain away how she liked her 'hot' pigtails, she said something like 'Travis jokingly called me Pollyanna when I wore pigtails (braids - whatever). Not the same implication at all IMO

Agreed, Detector, but for Nurmi and all of Us!!! She's driving me batty.

When she thinks about things -- anything -- does she think the truth, or is she lying to herself? I have nevah!

After she is executed, they need to examine the frontal lobe (impulse control region) of her brain, with a concentration in the pre-fronal cortex that part of the brain that enables most people to feel remorse or learn moral behavior – when normal people lie, this is the first study to provide evidence of structural differences in that area among pathological liars.Something is wrong with hers, my friends.

Oddly, I actually think she feels some remorse.

:truce:

After she's convicted, someone should send her a pamphlet entitled. "1 Place To See Before You Die."

How amazing would it be if the jury comes back with a guilty verdict in a matter of hours? It will soothe my still raw and aching heart that doesn't seem to get over the KC verdict.

I hate her more than KC. I didn't think that was possible.

I don't like him so much since the trial. But I could be projecting!

Guys,
I just had a worrisome thought. What if the DT never asks JA about June 4. They already have her testimony that she killed him because he "attacked" her, and they have established a "history of abuse." (using these terms lightly) So what if they decide not to open the door to June 4th, knowing that JA will never survive JM's cross, and not wanting to give the jury any more details that would show JA in a (more) unfavorable light.

Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias are so similar.

They both try to appear articulate and intelligent and even spiritual while in fact, they exist and thrive on fulfilling the most base desires and will murder in order to satisfy those needs.

and both scream that they are the true victims.....:furious::liar::waiting::noooo::noooo::noooo::tantrum::maddening:

Jodi said Travis tied her up that day with "soft rope".

Doesn't surprise me. She has an explanation...and a lengthy one...for everything. And I'm sure she will say he wanted to use the gun in the same way he used the candy.:what:

Do these talking heads think she is really scoring points? Look the jury aren't stupid she sounds like anyone after being dumped trying to hopelessly save face and make it seem like the other person was morally wrong and also the dumpee .... it's transparent and they'll see through it.

Jodi, this is not about the fact that Travis dumped you, and you are not talking to your girlfriends about what a bad dude Travis was. This is a murder trial because you went to his house and killed him for it.

I am sure she is just loving this last chance to bang on about her relationship with him, she's still obsessed with him, killing him gave her final ownership of him too. He's hers forever in her mind.

Jesus her and Nurmi have really irked me today. When the judge told her to take the stand she just stood there reading something! WTH?! No respect at all.
And Nurmi deliberately going sooooo slow, and not to mention his mistrial bs AGAIN. Too bad Nurmi, no matter how slow you proceed, eventually Juan will get up there and do his job. When that day comes it will be magnificent.

i found it funny during the sex tape ja says she likes the song clumsy by fergie and she expressed the middle part of the song,,good one jodi,,here is what it says;

You know this ain't the first time This has happened to me, this love sick thing I like serious relationships And a girl like me don't stay single for long
'Cause every time a boyfriend and I break up My world is crushed and I'm all alone The love bug crawls right back up And bites me and I'm back

It's fun! Spooky and, expect the unexpected! I miss it! Hubby wants to give it another try, (he loved it also), but I would miss so many trials! You are up all night and sleep all day. That, I don't miss! :)

I've watched the program (much better than Ghose Hunters on travel channel)--but it facinates me---I do agree about the hours--have one daughter that could handle the night shift....lol....but are really that professional about it?

BK & JC said there was a long sidebar after the jury left, they thought maybe the opening the door was the reason.
