I just had a worrisome thought. What if the DT never asks JA about June 4. They already have her testimony that she killed him because he "attacked" her, and they have established a "history of abuse." (using these terms lightly) So what if they decide not to open the door to June 4th, knowing that JA will never survive JM's cross, and not wanting to give the jury any more details that would show JA in a (more) unfavorable light.

But they did mention June 4th, the 1st day of Jodi's testimony.

Jodi: Because he attacked me and I defended myself.

Am I the only one who couldn't understand most of what he said? I literally understood about 20% of what he said. He was mostly just garbled to my ears. I wonder what the jury heard? And remember, they only hear this once unless they ask later for a replay.

Mark my words :wink: Jodi is going to somehow slip in the fact that Ryan Burns was much thinner when they were together (therefore in her shallow, judgmental eyes better looking).

It will be under the guise that that is why it wasn't difficult for her to physically adjust him when he was on top of her.

Make no mistake though, she is the person she described her father as being; "negative and judgmental" about weight, looks, etc.

She can hardly stand for the people on the jury to think she was going after someone who looks like Ryan Burns. I am certain of it.

By the way, I think Ryan Burns is handsome- thin or large- he seemed like a really nice guy, and I thought he was darling just the way he is!

Has it been established that Travis told Jodi Ryan expressed interest in meeting her, asked her if she wanted him to pass on her phone number to Ryan and that Ryan called her the next day? So Travis is jealous but he isn't sometimes. Egads!

Wonder if Jodi is going to bring up some sort of 'I was a sex slave because of my love for that man' routine with Travis hooking her up with men for sex. Like PPL wasn't bringing in enough moolah so he was falling back on an older method of making money?

Oh she said Travis broke into HER computer?? That just proves it - she's flipping stories and accusing him of things she did to him. He wasn't obsessed .. she made sure he knew about other men in her life. I've watched the program (much better than Ghose Hunters on travel channel)--but it facinates me---I do agree about the hours--have one daughter that could handle the night shift....lol....but are really that professional about it?

Yes! To be a TAPS family member you have to prove yourself. You have to be proven in the community. There are strict guidelines that you have to follow. It's very strictly oriented, and any type of tomfoolery is a BOG NO-NO. It takes OVER a year just to be approved to BE a family member. I could talk all day on the paranormal, so I'll hush while I am ahead.

yes parts were very garbled and then other parts were clear. It was obviously not just the recording though, it must have been that way on the original call before they cleared it up because she kept asking "what's that?" and etc. I still feel like that recording was not helpful for the defense one bit.

I am thinking she HAS to testify to it, because not one thing she has BS'ed about so far adds up to justification for murder and overkill, to boot.
That would be completely ineffective counsel, if they were to not have her testify to it.
