As was mentioned earlier in this thread or the last, often an abuser will turn things around on the victim when accused of being abusive. We would need to see the entire email where they're insulting each other. But it's possible something like this occurred, IMO:

JA: you treat me like a and a , only want me for sex, etc.

TA: BS. I'm nothing more than a dil** with a heartbeat to you...


(My ex was a master at turning things around to try to make me be the bad guy.) Anyway, this is just a possibility.

After hearing that tape yesterday, I don't believe in a million years Travis abused her. Possible yes, but very, very, very unlikely. She directed that conversation and the subject matter, even directed when he would "get off".

IMO, victims of DV don't tell their abusers what to do; it's the other way about.

Here"s the thing...
Jodi is trying to portray the victim as "The Big Bad Wolf" and herself as innocent, "Little Red Riding Hood", skipping through the forest with her basket of "goodies" ...(ahem)...
Remember back to her first meeting with TA and she said that in the elevator he was licking his lips (I immediately thought of The Big Bad Wolf as a reference point) ...so from the very beginning of her testimony she was trying to portray the victim in this light...
The truth of the matter (IMO), is that the roles are reversed - she is, in all actuality "the Big Bad Wolf" - pretending to be all frail and helpless (like the wolf pretending to be grandma), when she is the one with all the abusive power in this relationship - "the better to kill you with"...
How sad and awful that she is able to tell her distorted and evil lies - discrediting the dignity and truth of who TA really was...
Hopefully the jurors will see through all of this like we do _ and I trust they will..
My thoughts go out to the TA's family, friends and all of us here who care about justice prevailing ...She is just plain Evil and that needs to be triumphed by all that is good and just .... and it will...(IMO)..
