jmt300 suggested Jodi might use Betty Broderick defense (went to ex-husband's house to commit suicide in front of him, gun went off, hit him, then everything went blank/black).

Or she'll say she had the gun in her backpack because she, as a young female, had embarked on a very long car trip alone and had it for protection.
Both seem poss to me.
But one prob. w. the gun-for-lone-woman-traveller is---
If that was the case (a poss. legit reason to have a gun), then why did she not ask grandparents to borrow a gun to use?
Why steal the gun from g'parents?
All of this is just her motive, not DV. What a horribly bad defense. LOL.
So she takes off her glasses to read??? So are the glasses really necessary or just a prop to try to get sympathy from the jury.
Oh, Jodi's sister wasn't really stupid!
She was a drug addict and a mess, but Jodi didn't notice that. Sister, at 17 yrs. old, was also getting out of an abusive relationship during that time.
So, sister is not stupid.

at this rate won't be until next week. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:
I'm the one that pointed out abusers often project onto their victims. I totally agree Jodi's actions are very inconsistent with an abuse victim but as an abuser she fits very well. After hearing that tape yesterday, I don't believe in a million years Travis abused her. Possible yes, but very, very, very unlikely. She directed that conversation and the subject matter, even directed when he would "get off".
