You and me, we are done? right? no more? for sure this time? Because I am off to Utah next to grind with my boring new potential husband? So tell me now? you and me, girlfriend boyfriend yes or no?

I think she did not drive there "to kill him" I think she drove there to see if this is really it?

Why in god's name he let her in.

Once in, I am obsessed with what happened next? What was his tone, what did she say? That first few moments in time in how he reacted to seeing her bought him 12 hours more of "life". Again she had a tiny glimmer things will turn around, he will say to me that he doesn't want to be without me.

If he had, that gun & knife would never have come out.

But he didn't, he somehow said and did things that dragged this fateful event another 12 hours until she was told again, its over, he had sex with me, he is seeing me off to Utah and he is in the shower, he is talking about how we each have someone new in our lives.

Not what she wanted to hear.

I dont know why this just occurred to me but... What if... she really did intend to commit suicide... and she decided to do it in front of him? She has conveniently said she was suicidal several times. She may say that she took the gun and while he was in the shower she decided that was the moment she was going to 'do it' and put the gun to her head... He lunged at her and she saw it as an 'attack' and because she was scared and 'not making the right choices' she simply acted out of fear... and the murder happened...

Yeah, me too. At the rate they are going, I am worried that my March vacation in Palm Springs may be when JM finally gets to start his cross.

Jodi could have acquired a separate cell phone using Travis' cell number, for text messaging to her self.

Maybe this gawd-awful boring, drawn out testimony is the groundwork for theory #5 - Travis was in the shower, Jodi came in to "talk" and he killed himself (rather violently) because he couldn't take another minute of her droning.

It's almost believable.

I had a friend once who admitted to me the extent of her stalking behavior on the guy she was basically a booty call for. She had so many sophisticated ways to get his passwords, PIN numbers,etc. She convinced him she was ok with the nature of their casual sexual relationship while he actively sought other women to date. She offered to water his garden while he was out of town so got a key. She once confessed it all to me saying " there is not one pocket of any article of clothing he has I've not gone through, not one drawer I don't know exactly what's in it". She admitted going through all his emails and private computer stuff regularly and emailing women he was trying to date. I was shocked she confessed all of this and just said "you know you need to get help here". She had zero remorse and shortly after confessing all of this went crazy on me after seeing a friendly post about food or something I made on his FB page and broke off our friendship (whew!). I promptly told him, quietly and privately, that he needed to change all his passwords and PIN numbers and get his locks changed. He was my friend first but she befriended me like she did all females close to him to glean info (didnt realize all this til it blew up).

She had no problem either sneaky watching him sign on his accounts or find ways to ask him for keys etc just to get the access.

So so sick. This was years ago now...she also always said they would always be friends. He's in a serious relationship now but I doubt her obsession is gone 100%. They have no contact though. I have nothing to do with her either, thank God.

Interesting possibility, but doubtful.

She's not that good.

She would have been caught by now, and Travis would still be alive -- MOO.

But I get stuck on the "she didn't go to kill him" when I think about all the actions and her behavior to get to Mesa and basically not leave a trail: had to stop and borrow gas cans from a former BF; seemed frantic and intent on going there; didn't leave a receipt trail in AZ; her cell phone was conveniently "off" on her driving into AZ and while in AZ (wasn't it off for about 20 hours or so?); rental car...with the plates upside down; she's supposed to be in UT to see a potential new fling, Ryan...but she never calls at any point at this time to state she's been delayed and won't get there when he's expecting her?, etc.

She pre-planned so many details. Why?

She is so well.. crazy, I get the feeling thats how she plans a starbucks run. She is in a constant state of planning, plotting, hacking, over thinking, over reacting...exploding

Good point,,i like it,,i was just wondering how she could have called ta if her phone was lost,,if this is the same trip

IMO she would have written a suscide novel for sure...

There would be no need for all of her other preparations.

I have, a retail job, such as it is, been waiting for my day off, today, darnit! Sorry I post on a sports forum, where we curse all of the time...must learn to tone it down. Lol. :rocker:
