Ok.... I think Nurmi stepped in a big pile of spit when he was trying to drag it all out yesterday. Doesn't her "he was mad at me for leaving his gift behind" crap sound an aweful lot like her "I didn't want him to be mad at me for leaving his gift behind so I went back for it and caught him mastur bating to child 🤬🤬🤬🤬"???? I belive the story of the drawing, I bet she used that as a base for the other story.

Nurmi better shut up!

I don't think I have said anything negative about Legal Shield (PPL) and wish all of its associates nothing but success in their business.

For myself, I'd be good with life without parole-she wouldn't be able to hurt anyone else-but will be flipping upset with anything less.

Is LWOP ever really without parole. Can't it get watered down over time? She could be out of jail eventually. Does anyone know?

But it takes away the long weekend Juan Martinez would have had to prepare (after Jodi's testimony about the actual murder). :(

Nurmi doesn't want to focus on that day. I believe he's trying to drag this out for as long as possible. the murder will be the weakest part of his case. he wants to leave the jury with a long weekend of Jodi shaking like a dog and cowering from travis. His scripted questions of the murder will be brief.

Oh no! No, that's not possible. I hope hope hope that is not possible.

Poor judge! She must be feeling really bad to do this. Hope she's on the mend soon. :getwell:

ROFL @ your avatar! :rocker:

for REAL?

Whether anyone was directed formally to do it, or it is the work of very passionate employee's protecting their business, I am not positive. Are they doing it, yes, I already got 1 email after I posted something they found to be "misleading" on my part.

I apologized.

Without parole means no opportunity for parole, ever.

I’m not sure if anyone has already picked apart the story of the trashed BMW. It would have been ruined but not the way she says: Dismiss the notion of it being towed in first gear, in any gear or in drive. The drive wheels would not rotate and if you attempted this stunt those tyres would skid along with obvious results – if you could even get the whole rig moving.

To get any forward motion you would need to put the car in neutral. But even engaging neutral and lifting the front wheels on a dolly won’t protect automatic transmission for more than three or four miles because BMWs are rear-wheel drive. Automatic transmission requires the engine running to ensure lubrication is pumped to the rear drive shafts (which would be rotated by the act of towing.)

Rotating drive shafts in neutral = insufficient lubrication = burnt out transmission.

JA tried to blame U-Haul but that’s farcical. No rental company would watch her struggling to drive off with the rear wheels of the towed vehicle locked solid! In my opinion she drove off normally with the towed BMW in neutral (key safely out) and its transmission burnt dry after a few miles.

Sorry for the mechanics lecture, and it’s a minor point, but another lie which needs pointing out – to JA and her DT. :websleuther:

I just wanted to thank you for this. the whole BMW being towed and trashed then her own car towed back instead a on bed never made sense.

The check with her very 1st two car "payments" in the measly amounts of $100 a piece are found in the office after the murder..... placed ever so perfectly.

After Travis is found she contacts his sister claiming Travis wanted her to have the BMW so give it to her but you can see there is no BMW in his garage or in his driveway.

Even the towing it on the dolly via U-Haul made no sense. U-Haul will not load anything for you. It's against their policy becuase they can be liable for stuff like this. Notice she flew right over whether they fixed the car or not with "I don't even remember what happened with that." And where was her car going to be while she towed the BMW back? It wasn't given back to the bank becuase she specifically states on the stand that she towed her own car home.

I feel like the whole BMW thing was made up just so she could have the car after she slaughtered Travis. Like a damn door prize. Just another part of her plan. From the planted check in his office, to the claims that Travis wanted her to have it. If he wanted her to have it she would have it. "Fixed" from the U-Haul disaster  and she would be cruising the mean streets of Yreka.

If I said too much, somebody would come to my house to make sure there was nothing they could not clear up for me. Which would not be a good idea on their part

um, huh?

It is true, and they are just protecting their company and sales team from any misinformation.

That's hilarious. Send them to my house to make sure there's nothing they can't clear up for me. Omg, roflmao

I loved Steely's post... lol

BUT, "we need to back up a little further.....when you were in the living room....did you KNOW who the "strumming banjo person" in the kitchen was??"

"At that point in time, did you know a banjo would be involved"?

I wouldn't worry too much about Juan having time to prepare. He's a pro and will be ready and AMAZING!

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy sIII (so please excuse the typos!)

She would have it fixed from U-Haul with her butt in it while she cruised the mean streets of Yreka.

Interesting point but I wonder what did happen to that car.

I stand by my right to post my opinions about one of their motor home living slimeball, greasy, disingenuous "ring holders" Gus Searcy. If that reflects poorly on their company, then that's their own to manage. I stand by my observations and opinions.

I LOVE YOU KATIECOOLADY!! You are a warrior! (and I revealed my inner chicken this morning LOL)

Oh, sure. Clearly, since the defense is battered victim/domestic violence. But still, after hearing Jodi's version of events, Juan may have less than 24 hours to prepare for his cross or to research anything she says. He's a pro. He'll make it work.
