After a long day of "Jodisms" I usually don't want to hear or see anymore. At 7pm NY time, I switch back and forth from JVM and Two and a half Men. JVM screams to much, but I can tolerate her sometimes. NG? Ugh! But at 9pm if nothing else is on I'll watch Dr. Drew.

Last night on Dr. Drew Gus Searcy was on.

Am I crazy, or did he say:

When the night Travis died, I got a call from Jodi at 3:30 a.m. in the morning, crying hysterically that Travis was dead. When this happened, I asked her what happened, how she was, where she was.

The underwear with Travis' name and the boy underpants are two different things. He supposedly put his name on ladies' underwear/bootie shorts or similar and those were supposedly in the same box with a separate package of boys spiderman underwear -- like the kind you can buy at Target three to a pack with the same theme but different prints. For the record, I'm female with a son young enough that I still buy his underwear for him, not a perv with way too much info about little boys' underwear!

Still, the story just doesn't make sense to me. Travis was out of town A LOT. He could have stopped in some Walgreens to buy the lube. Nobody would have even noticed. Having 'Travis Alexanders' put on ladies panties would be the same level of so called shame.

I'm not buying JA's story about that.

This break could actually be good for the defense, IMO. Nurmi and Jodi are starting to sound like background noise to me. Those jurors, while no doubt taking their jobs very seriously, are probably wondering where the exits are.

I don't think so because there is no faster way to be pulled over than not having a license plate.

I posted earlier that she put them upside down (my theory) becuase she thought the traffic cams recorded plate numbers and that upside down would fool them (but a cop would have to be pretty close to tell, unlike no plate at all)

The reason I think that is because when she was being questioned by the detective she's the one who brought up the trafffic cams when she was denying being in Mesa. "You should check the red-light cameras" she said without them ever being mentioned. IMO she never would have said that if she didn't think she had beat that system.

And I think after the murder she forgot about that detail, hence getting pulled over in Utah.

I wasn't trying to disagree with your thought on the subject. Sometimes things get posted and become "fact" so I was just sayin' that the name wasn't on the alleged little boy underwear. Maybe a little different in the "shame" department!

That would certainly indicate more premeditation as a ruse to fool people into thinking she was unhappy and under his control. I saw that when he said that and wondered why Dr. Drew didn't follow-up on it. I hope the pros is watching some of these shows. Even the other night when Dr. Drew had that guy who lent JA the $$ for her trip when she killed TA, I haven't heard anything about that at trial. Course I coulda' missed it. But the guy said she was frantic to go on that trip.

IMHO, she was frantic because she needed to see TA BEFORE he went to Can Cun with another woman. :moo: I personally think that was the flash point for JA's actions. He was NOT going to go to romantic Can Cun with anyone other that her.

It seems some of the pieces to the puzzle are missing for the pros, imho.

I'm seriously starting to get worried that she won't be convicted. NEVER thought I'd say that about this case. It seemed so cut and dry, but some of the people I've seen the past few days talk about the case, seem a little sympathetic to JA.

I think she is a succubus and she lured him in and tried to poison him and did for
quite awhile. A nursery mouth talking all the nasty things she thought could
keep him tied to her, thru sex.
And the poor young man who was struggling with a difficult history, didn't have a chance while under her spell.
My intuition says he woke up eventually and was trying to break free...but she was to fast for him.
My heart goes out to his family for having to go thru this...and I hope she never
gets out...if she does, I'll have to sleep with garlic under my pillow...and DH
would not appreciate that!

Welcome runningwater! You have got a pretty good grasp on what is on the inside of Jodi Arias. A succubus in the flesh. But this one was caught and she is facing justice. I am very sorry for what happened to Travis, that makes me so angry but I also try to learn as much as I can. Are there red flags? Thanks to the folks here I have learned a lot of the tell tale signs of psychopathy. With your grasp runningwater I doubt you will be duped either.

i feel like she sounds like a chick who used to be my client.

everytime I saw her she would talk about this boyfriend...for like two years.

he transferred his job to move away from her
he would never call her back and would lose his phone a lot.
he would completely disappear
he would have a girl answer his phone and then say she was a "cleaning lady"
he would only have an hour to spend on the holidays....

and on and on.

but she insisted he was the one...and she would talk about phone calls they had and every detail and on and on ...as though this was a REAL relationship.

it was so bizarre....just like jodi....except for she had no anger.

I think jodi wanted to ruin Travis and maybe would have tried to blackmail him for money.

I am not even sure the texts about her being a slave were even sent by travis...she could have sent those from his phone while he slept.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the dread must be there, but hopefully if you go before the parole board, you can keep him there. In PA, both of my brother's murderers got LWOP. The shooter plead guilty as the DP was on the table and we were in the middle of trial. In PA, life means life. My heart goes out to you.

Sorry gals/guys, a little OT [head's up applied] here but I gotta ask/say:

Zuri, if you don't mind me asking, where did this happen in Pa? I'm intrigued now because I too live in [Western] Pa (have most all my 32 years).

On another note, I want to say so sorry (to you Zuri) and my deepest sympathies go out to you in regards to what terrible thing happened to your brother... Great outcome though with what happened to his murderers & the punishment that they got (in the context of things & the situation that you had to deal with). It's so sad & nothing frustrates me more when someone takes another's life -in cold blood- & all that/those murderer(s) punishment(s) ends up being (for committing one -if not THE- WORST of all sins &/or things that one human being can do to another) is all too often a measely 10, 15, 20 years. Any punishment shorter than at least a mandatory 50 years -for killing in cold blood- is not a punishment IMO & is laughable really.
Thank god one of the great things about (the system in) Pa is that Pa usually doesn't play around when it comes to murder (unlike other states, specifically Florida [Pinellas County]). Last time I checked, Pa has the most child killers (juveniles who DO the murdering so what I'm saying here is not misconstrued) who have been tried &/or tried and convicted as an ADULT than any other state (by far). <-- Don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it goes to support why I say that when it comes to murder, Pa doesn't play around/take it as a joke.
