I don't post often, so bear with me here but...hearing about the cookies makes me think of the airplane scene in "Bridesmaids" when Kristen Wiig has a big old buzz and "says you dooooooooooooo"...when little demeur Helen (who I think is how Jodi pictures herself) tells her something that sounds sweet, but has horns on top! Please tell me you've seen it (or you should). I wouldn't touch one of her skanky, left out cookies. Nor would Travis...he was better at baking anyway!

I wouldn't worry about whether or not the jury will convict her. I believe in my heart they will. The sticking point seems to be with DP, how jurors deal with it/the public at large. In this one case though, regardless of the appeals/etc...I think they want to stick it to her. Most of the defense attorneys I know, already think said aforementioned verdict will be appealed, having said that, none are impressed by her "story."

The jury is sick of her. Whenever she rises and the jury leaves the courtroom, after her testimony on the stand, she first looks at them and down, which, IMO means none of them are looking at her. Never a good sign. Watch the tapes. It's like she is searching for eye contact, getting none, and then looks down at the floor.

I think you're joking, but just in case, those were Travis's own comments in the comment section of the blog -- at least they were comments made in his name and I would think if Jodi was hacking she would have been more creative than pedicures and Susan Lucci lol

I was joking. Apparently pretty lamely. I just was trying to point out the unbelievable charge of Travis being a pedophile when everything about his social/dating life screams heterosexual, adult male.

I know Jodi tried to backtrack on the witness stand and say the picture Travis was masturbating to wasn't pornographic but rather just a pic of a young boy but it means the same thing. She remained locked in on her charge of pedophilia. It sickens me.

From there you an upload your own, enter a URL, or use one that WS has.

Guy Searcy live on In Session now. He just said Jodi called him Junr 4th night crying saying Travis was dead? If this is true it means that he was the only one who knew that Travis was dead.. .he must be confused. She must have called him on the 9th.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the dread must be there, but hopefully if you go before the parole board, you can keep him there. In PA, both of my brother's murderers got LWOP. The shooter plead guilty as the DP was on the table and we were in the middle of trial. In PA, life means life. My heart goes out to you.

Thanks Zuri, I have attended 2-parole hearings, sent many letters to parole.

Got letter few weeks ago, they looking at his case again. Victims rights lady told me he'll prolly get out next hearing (next year) but they'll pull everything they can to keep him in as long as they can. Oh they say he's been a good boy, following all the rules. He's already made statement to outside people if it wasn't for "that sister" I'd already been out. Oh well !

Hopefully Travis' family want have to go through any of that.

HLN is talking about the pigtail pic the day of the murder - who's to say that Jodi didn't take the pic herself with a self-timer while TA was sleeping ? That would certainly indicate more premeditation as a ruse to fool people into thinking she was unhappy and under his control. If I remember the pic, JA certainly does not look happy ... thoughts ?

I've always thought that because she's in an awkward position like she's trying to see if she's in frame vs. lying somewhat naturally and letting Travis frame the photos. If that makes sense...

Just thinking out loud.In the pic where Travis is giving the"peace"sign,the more I look at that,it looks more like the "double bird" that Jodi referenced yesterday.Maybe things were already going downhill at this point and they were arguing.

i feel like she sounds like a chick who used to be my client.

everytime I saw her she would talk about this boyfriend...for like two years.

he transferred his job to move away from her
he would never call her back and would lose his phone a lot.
he would completely disappear
he would have a girl answer his phone and then say she was a "cleaning lady"
he would only have an hour to spend on the holidays....

and on and on.

but she insisted he was the one...and she would talk about phone calls they had and every detail and on and on ...as though this was a REAL relationship.

it was so bizarre....just like jodi....except for she had no anger.

I think jodi wanted to ruin Travis and maybe would have tried to blackmail him for money.

I am not even sure the texts about her being a slave were even sent by travis...she could have sent those from his phone while he slept.

I tried to put myself into TA's frame of mind last night after reading and watching anything I could. People seemed to think, as did he, that Jodi might be the one for him. The friends became concerned when she became clingy. I am thinking also some were getting the idea that the relationship was a sexual one. I think that he started to pull away because she started to smother him, break into passwords, etc. He knew something was not quite right with her. She then started to threaten to tell everyone about their sex life. Now he has this woman he wants to break away from but she keeps up the threat just by knowing his co-workers, friends, people in the church. Every time he saw her flirting or chatting with someone it wasn't because he was jealous it was because he was in a panic. So he kept her close but was doing and saying mean enough things to her in order to get her to leave but not mad enough to take his reputation away, his lifestyle, his life. Keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. He must have been so stress and frightened about the situation. In reading Mormon's post I wish he would have talked to his bishop, gotten a new start.
