I think he knew she was there and was allowing a few photos to be taken, however I think this is when she caught him off guard, he knelt, or looked down, or crouched for whatever reason. She pulled the gun out and shot.
And I believe he was screaming like she describes (and holding his head) making his way to his knees.
It just does not seem logical to me that he knew she was there and was he a willful participant, due to a few issues I can't get around. One, being her attire. It was the middle of June in Phoenix (often gets to triple digit temps) and her being in long track-pants and fully dressed would not have raised a flag to him? Two, he just does not seem to be portraying the imagine I have of man posing for a camera. Why so serious? Third, he had a call to be on soon and I can't help but think that he would not be playing around with JA taking photos when he has a call to prepare for.
Leads me to believe he was not a willing participant. Therefore, either a)he did not know she was there, taking photos; or, b)he was being told to wash off and make sure all of you is rinsed, at the end of a gun.
