Sorry for the O/T ... but I was very upset to hear about Oscar.

I remember the first time I saw him run because I had tears in my eyes watching him run with prosthetic legs because my Mother had an entire leg amputated a few years before she passed, and she was just learning how to use a prosthesis ...

So it was very moving to see Oscar out there running in the Olympics ... and now he is in the same predicament as JA ...

Sad ... very sad !

Good morning all! Forgive me if someone had already brought this up. Regarding JA's purchases of two of this and that. I wonder if she just has the compulsion to always buy two of everything whenever she shops. Some people have some unusual shopping habits. JMO. I am soooooo ready for Juan's cross. one thing about her claim of this huge struggle:

he had very few defensive wounds----only on his hands. none on his forearms that i know of. to me, this indicates he was badly injured when she was stabbing him----either by the gunshot (imo, it was first) or by one of the very first stab wounds.


if they were really locked in this battle, then you'd have to believe he was holding her and she was reaching around to stab him in the back. now, who would do that?

if i was being attacked with a knife, i wouldn't be holding that person close to me----i'd be going for that knife and getting all cut up while doing it. not the case with TA.

When I heard his little "teaser" before airing the actual segment about whether TA was a sex addict - I was utterly disgusted with Dr. Drew for even mentioning that. DISGUSTED.

I don't think the Defense's case will be over today, I hope Juan cross examines JA at LEAST 1/2 the amount of time she spent with her self-promoting direct, and then I suspect the defense will bring in some kind of bought-and-paid-for testimony about how Jodi was a battered woman...who hung up on her batterer, walked away from her batterer, etc. Uh huh.

I know from looking at the checks she wrote that her checking account was the 8806 number. I can't figure out what the other account is. She was broke, so I can't imagine her having a savings account and putting $400.00 in it. And also, Flores said somewhere (can't find it) that when her grandparents house was broken into, besides the gun being stolen...COUGH COUGH ...that a dvd player was also taken, and something else (not counting the 30 bucks) I wonder if she sold them? I am still trying to figure out where she got $800.00 to put in those accounts. And whose account the 7148 was? I don't know, I am probably over thinking it.
Also in one of her interviews with Flores, she says "Travis sold me a car, with very easy terms" or something along those lines. I think those 3 checks she wrote him had something to do with the car she bought from him. I know there was one check for the car, but I'm sure she was making payments for the rest of it. It was a BMW ~ those are not cheap

I think she just shops for bargains, two-for-ones.

She said she did that with the sweatpants that match the ones in the picture of her dragging Travis in the interview with Flores.

She bought two b/c they were such a good deal, even though the other pair was too small. /snerk :what:

What I liked about the sex addict expert was he mentioned it's hard to make a case for being abused/used when you don't live with the person and are calling up and having phone sex from hundreds of miles away!

Two steps forward, one step back....for 7 days now. Well, if you can call the total of 4 hours per day they are in trial a 'day'.

If I were on this jury, I would NOT be a happy camper right now. I would also be confused on who to blame the fact that I can have no life....the system, the judge, or the defendant.
