You'll also be spotted in the drive thru cameras at IN-and_OUT. And the cameras at the toll booth, and the cameras at busy intersections in town. And the cameras out side the bank that just happens to get cars going down the road.
Lot of places to check the camera.

You are absolutely right. Despite thinking that she is smarter than everyone else, she certainly didn't think her plan through in certain instances very well. Gas purchases, memory sticks, over-involvement in the investigation, etc.

I mean, at what point did she really think that calling the detective was a good idea? Not sure that I would have ever arrived at that point, if I had brutally killed someone. Not that I would, but you know. :innocent:

I haven't heard where the 2nd rental was from. I read somewhere that perhaps the mother rented it. I haven't seen that confirmed.

I really want to see the police report related to Jodi's arrest, the surveillance of her before the arrest and the events that followed after the arrest. This police report would cover the 2nd rental car and the 2 searches of it.

Linda, I seriously wonder if the State of Arizona can charge him for something for going out and lying about her calling him hours after killing Travis? I really get upset to think he is trying to help a confessed murderer in return for airtime for him. He reminds me of Cindy Anthony. Hopefully, this jury sees what we all see.

Start at 46.00 for the rental car remark, but to get context, it's good to listen before that. She brings the car rental (#1) up totally out of the blue - she is still trying to fit her story to the evidence.
I've been listening, and it's easy to get lost in her world - and so creepy.

I think I read that someone else rented it for her from a Yreka car rental place.

BTW, listening to the tape proceeding the one above, she is still trying to say she wasn't in the area at the time. She says something like "What if there's no proof the (rental car) was in the area at that time?"
License plates for sure.

I'm too creeped out to listen to more right now.

Wonder what she kept or put back in the car to bring that smoke smell back in. Maybe some things didn't burn completely so she retrieved them and disposed of them elsewhere, some other way.

I wonder if she stays to watch said fire and d@@b Arias sits with her door open, munching on popcorn. The smell would stick to the fabric of the interior. Her hair and clothing would also retain the smell
