Exactly! I think that's what JM is heading towards by showing that her finger wasn't injured in the "phantom fight" she had with Travis.

I assume it has already come out in the trial which finger(s) Ryan saw bandaged when she arrived at his house? I do believe the finger was injured while stabbing Travis, not months before.

My apologies for missing the testimony.

Omg, more snark please. It's really ticking me this evening.

Sorry, but I'm not making this stuff up. I never even tried pop rocks! :giggle:

The jury instructions on self defense specifically say there is no duty to retreat if the person is there lawfully and not committing a crime. I guess it could be argued that Jodi was not there lawfully and was committing a crime - so the "no duty to retreat" rule would not apply to her.

Since the DT has filed a motion to have that part excluded I do think it does pretain to JA and she did have a duty to retreat.

Also when they were asking for a dismissal of felony murder the Judge ruled against them by saying that once a homeowner is attacked/assaulted inside of their home the attacker/assaultee is no longer considered a wanted guest. That is why she let the felony murder stand along with first degree.

IMO

Jodi is an accomplished and practiced stalker. How many people are thanking their lucky stars she is behind bars? Men or women. Whatever Jodi thought she wanted she'd go to any lengths to acquire.

I wonder if there is anyone out there heaving a sigh of relief that JM did not name him as a 'grinding' partner.

I have a VERY strong feeling more than one ex-boyfriend and friends are covering for Arias. They know things they aren't telling "yet" but some will soon spill it, it will leak little by little

It would be my guess that after Mr. Martinez deposed him (re the magazines) the defence would consider him a hostile witness!

I thought the reason was because Matt admitted that he would lie for Jodi. I can't remember where I heard that, but I've heard it more than once.

Yes, the whole PF Chang's and social security card tale was the lead-in to the peeping on Travis and a girl making out. Obviously, that was a lie.

iirc she went to travis house to go in the garage to look through some boxes for her s/s card at 11pm kind of an odd time don't you think? she went to snoop

Had to go find out exactly what Arias said about her secret messages in the magazines. Juan says, "They're in pencil right?". She answers, "I haven't seen them."

Did y'all see the interview from Fox News inside jail w Jodi arias. Interviewed other cell mates on her block and they gushed about love for her

Cell mates who have made poor life altering choices. Not exactly the type you want to reference on your resume. Nor are they what you would call good judges of character. jmo

I think it was a roomate on one of the HLN shows last night that said there was not reason for her to go around back to get in because she had the code to the garage to get in? I suppose she saw this other woman's car in the driveway which is why she went around back to spy?

Not familiar with AZ or what occurred years ago when JA was first arrested and charged,. However, normally when one is charged with first-degree murder and the DP is being sought, isn't it normally "no bail"....period? I can't recall a case where the DP was on the table and the defendant out on bail.

:behindbar

There has been some really rich people who have been able to post bail for first degree murder but not sure about the DP. Christian Brando is one example.

Hey, who has plans this weekend to go into the mountains with a group of men you don't trust to pan some gold? Count me IN! Got my Glock, bottled water and KY.

I've got a case of Costco water in the trunk of my car and my handgun hidden in the engine compartment. I'm good to go!

Didn't she just say yesterday that it was two fingers on her right hand? :waitasec:

And I think Ryan said left but I missed that testimony too.

Do we have text messages from that time? I bet if there are he wasn't answering her and that pizzed her off.

Obstruction of justice? Fabrication of evidence? Probably forgery too, if he signed Travis's name. I'm sure they'll come up with something. :)

I'm sure he could plead insanity. Abybody who would do something like this has git to be out of their right mind.:okay::okay:

You can tell that they've been written in a distinctly different way than she writes although they are still pretty straight up and down like she writes. I really noticed it with the "w".

She will say she didn't write them IMO.

Funny to me that it's Jodi's fault the forged letters and magazines are coming in. If only she had stopped short of painting Travis as a pedophile. The jury never would have heard what's to come!

bbm

oooooooo..... that's why jm has to prove she's a stalker!!!! she was trespassing!!!

She admitted to killing him. There is a cause of death, there was plenty of evidence found, she will do time it's just will it be second, first or DP.

Ya I know...I think I'm just still reeling from that other jury setting that other crazy chick free...I guess. :)

I wonder if JA would see second degree murder (if that's how it ends up)as a successful trial on her part.
