It would not surprise me in the least if Jodi did rescue bugs from her bathtub water. I know a woman who lacks empathy for others. She did not go to see her own grandmother when she was terminally ill but will cry her eyes out at a deathbed scene in a movie. I don't know how to describe this but it's kind of a sentimentality that lacks real feeling.

And my thought was as soon as she was out of his sight she stepped on it and flushed it down the toilet. lol

why can't I get this to open for me : Detective's Investigative Report

The camera was dropped (it took the shower ceiling view) then trodden on at least twice (taking two upside down views at floor level). This happened during a furious struggle of life and death. "Inadvertent" needs to be put in context here.

I think Jodi did get slammed to the floor while holding camera. I don't think the camera dropped to the floor ever. Her hand was on it the entire time. If you drop a camera on the tile floor it will most likely break or stop functioning.
This is the key moment. There was a struggle. Someone lost their cool but who was there? Who went nuts and cut Travis. Something went terribly wrong. Yes there was a knife and a gun brought but who was using it. Who wanted these weapons just in case they were needed?

yes, i think travis was just the beginning. its all about power and control to her. killing gave her a new high. i can see her becoming a hit woman too.

Can we add "posession" to power and control. Katiecoolady mentioned that she wanted travis friends, family & life. There is so much truth in this. Her life was chaotic, his was orderly. She was rootless and belonged nowhere, he was firmly rooted to Mesa and his ward. He had a carrer, she had various "jobs". On and on. She lacked so much and with Travis, all those qualities became "hers". By destroying him literally, she got to posess all his good by coming to court, acting as if she has a ton of integrity and innocence, and projecting onto him every icky and evil thing she was incapable of owning about herself.

i can't see how they'd dare put him on the stand. the ONLY way i could see him testifying would be if he cut a deal with the state to testify against her.

I so want this man to be exposed. His lies are one of the main reasons why Jodi has any supporters. If he's in any way behind those letters, OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

32!! Do we know what kept getting her fired?

If she was fired, it was because she took so much time off for all her extra-curricular activities. IMO I think she probably quit most of the time. She didn't want to work. She was looking for some guy to support her in the lifestyle she wanted to become accustomed to, whatever the h*ll that was.

Does anyone know if Matt is still going to be called as a witness for the defense?

I sure hope so. Would love to see his body language. We have already seen hir private parts so why not?

  • #1,328
I heard from Travis friend that Jodi stole and burned at least some of his journals.

And she told Matt where to find them and once found he used them to help forge those letters?

I bet those gold panning men, if they even exist, are breathing a deep sigh of relief about now. And will never think about inviting another woman to come along ever again.

When I heard that strange explanation from her I immediately thought, "off gold-digging again, with a gun."

No injuries at all to show for it according her. Even the cut fingers to the "right" hand on the night of the murder came from something else (broken glass).

Travis, 200 pound man = 27 stab wounds, near decapitation, bullet to the brain.

Jodi, 125 pound woman = not even a scratch.

Jodi should have competed in the UFC.

There is something very wrong about this. There is no way she could have over powered Travis, taken his life slowly, and not received one scratch. Just defies all logic in my book.

We already know there was no "gold panning men". She likes to create the illusion of being a girl of adventure. Remember as she stated, "there were rumors going around that I Killed Travis (or something like that).....She was on a mission to take care of anybody that saw her during her drive to kill Travis. (MM/roomate and Ryan Burns, maybe??)

She is pure evil

I think you are exactly right. I've never thought that the attraction was just that he was a successful man but rather that unlike Jodi, he had a LIFE. He had a career, his faith, people who loved him, a home. He was a complete person. She didn't just want Travis she wanted his whole life because she's empty inside.

yes-yes-yes she's an empty soul-less shell with no core values...

Wow just thought for the first time this whole story could likely be fabricated from her obsession with Travis' blog "why I want to marry a gold digger". :what:

When I first heard that, my first thought was his blog. Where he said he wanted to marry a gold digger! Does everybody remember that. Gold digger gold digger. I don't know where the link to his blogs are, but there is 1 labels I want to marry a gold digger.

JA's Agenda

June: Mureder
July: Pan for Gold

In what universe does any of this make sense? Who thinks "hmmm, until I get arrested for murder one, why don't I see if I can dig up a few gold nuggets"?

I know. How ironic is that? That she would bring that up. Sort of a subliminal suggestion to the jury to a place she surely did not want to go but she did it anyway. jmo

I think his gold digger blog is what sent her over the edge,

When she met Ryan she wore longvsleeves. So perhaps

sure there is. she either shot him first, disabling him so she could finish him off or she surprised him with the knife and stabbed him first, disabling him that way.

i know you think someone else was involved (and you're entitled to your opinion, absolutely), but there will be no evidence at all that anyone else was there, and the jury should not even consider it. even her defense has made no such suggestion and i'm sure if they could, they would.
