Do you think Jodi's thrown the woman that was at Travis's that night under the bus? The one she saw stand up and snap her bra?
I do have a question though about the night Deanna came over when Jodi was house sitting Napoleon and making cookies. Was Jodi supposed to be there? Did the room mate know? Could he of called Travis when he went outside to make a call? And Deanna going up to Travis's bedroom and calling Travis too, and Travis might of told her to go his office and take/hide something? That was such a strange tale. Jodi baking cookies and playing house.
IMO - I think JA has a lot to do with her defense. I think what takes precedence for JA as much as her defense claims, if not more so, is getting HER "story" out there, and what's important in her story is that TA was obsessed with her, and loved her, her, and her only. Her story is that they are fated lovers, tied together celestially for eternity (MOO). Her story is that TA was a duplicitous being, abusive, a liar, etc. Her story also to throws those Travis loved under the bus… I am sure I am missing a lot, but my gist is she is pretty much projecting herself and onto him, and "outing" him to the world. The gist is also that this is her story, she is the controlling agent, she is a pathological evil liar who silenced the one who would protest her fantasy. Who knows what the truth really is? I cannot wait for JM to piece his puzzle together!!
I completely agree with your questioning… IMO, I think there is every possibility in the world that she is throwing someone Travis desired, liked, and gave attention to, under the bus. I think it is completely possible she was not supposed to be there when Deanna walked in and did what she did.
Do you remember JA testifying that he did not want his Bishop to know about their sex life because he had gotten into trouble with Deanna Reid? She just HAD TO *slip* that in there; toss Deanna under the bus, and the credibility of TA & DR's relationship. It has nothing to do with her defense, it's JA's personal vendetta… She is the one who stated in the email: "I've never had to hide our friendship from anyone. Never. I would publish it in major newspapers nationwide, and broadcast it on syndicated radio and national television." She is doing that, but on her controlled terms, claiming her fantasy.
I personally think JA was trying to frame Deanna in some aspect because the external drive that JA left there on 6/4/08 was riddled with (false) accounts, as if it belonged to Deanna Reid. Do I have that right? I may be totally confusing that info. I need to go back and listen to that bit of testimony.
