The linebacker demonstration has been mentioned many times by posters on this site. JA, aware of the ME report on the gunshot wound to the head, deliberately tried to simulate TAs head position prior to gun discharge so that her rendition would COMPORT with the forensic evidence. She did not think through this lie well enough. According to JA, TA head was cocked to his LEFT and his head arched up slightly. JA claims she had a two hand grip on the gun which means the gun will shoot straight ahead. As others have noted, a gunshot fragment based on JA account would have entered the TA skull above right brow BUT THEN TRAVELLED THROUGH MOST OF TAs BRAIN.
Imagine what position TA would have had to hold his head during his linebacker tackle that would have allowed JA to shoot TA in the head AND with the bullet fragment winding up behind his left mandibular condyle???
CONCLUSION 1
Such a position would have been preposterous!
Also noted before, based on the JA account the gun discharged contemporaneous with the linebacker tackle. SO we would expect entry wound skin burns and powder stippling above his right brow.
This was not the case. SO JA, based on her tale, must have shot TA well before the tackle contact so the distance from gun nozzle and his forehead had to be several feet.
CONCLUSION 2
This JA assertion then contradicts forensic on several levels.
Also, the JA assertion that the gunshot to TA head did NOT abort his rage or his fierce menacing motions is prima facie ABSURD.
Finally the idea that JA reasonably perceived correctly that her life was at stake during the initial melee is problematic.
TA was unarmed and naked. JA freed herself once allowing her free travel down the hallway and into the closet. She then slammed the closet door shut. She then claims she aimed to de escalate the situation by jumping up on a tall shelf to obtain a gun. This event was also miraculous. How did JA know at that critical instance that this gun seen in prior months was still where she remembered it had been placed? What if TA had moved the gun to another shelf? How did she know that the gun was loaded AND READY TO FIRE? Did JA while everybody was sleeping secretly- re-confirm that this gun was located high on the shelf and that bullets were appropriately placed into the chamber?
Or was JA extraordinarily LUCKY that she managed to guess correctly that the gun she remembered in months past during housecleaning was STILL THERE UNDISTURBED, UNUSED, LOADED and ready to fire??
Did the memory of this gun discovered during housecleaning months before JUST POP INTO HER HEAD at that critical juncture when she was under attack and in a fight or flight mode?
CONCLUSION 3:
WOW That is a very convenient memory.
She stepped on a shelf the edge to reach up that high without disturbing the shoes sitting on the lower shelf. This claim CANNOT be simulated . She cannot obtain enough purchase on a lower shelf in order to bear her entire body weight with her toes clinging less than an inch on the lower shelf.
For her to:
1) Remember the gun location
2) Go directly to this gun location
3) Climb her way to the top shelf
4) Grab the gun
5) Climb back down from her step upwards
6) Balance her legs back onto the closet floor
7) Position the gun into her hand or hands such that she had control of the trigger
Would take vastly more time than it would take TA to open the closed closet door and run a few steps to grasp her and disable her in the closet.
CONCLUSION 4:
The JA closet story is also ABSURD.
