Has the actual crime been created someplace around here? Im still truing to liece the working theory together. Was he shaving at the sink when she first stabbed him? Did she stab him in the shower first? What are the actual sequence of events concerning the actual murder.

That's what we've been debating here for months! Join in.... Lot's of opinions, but for GUILTY.......

I think you're doing a great job! The more ideas generated the more we can piece together.

Perhaps I am underestimating how stunned someone would be when they realized someone close to them was *actually* intent on killing them. I keep thinking that Travis had plenty of opportunity to get the best of her and disarm her if she had a knife - which makes more sense to me if she were holding him helpless at gunpoint. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he was so stunned by the initial
knife wounds that he just relented and didn't really fight back.

Oh, he fought back. I believe the surprise factor was as great as the weapons she used.

True. While she was stabbing, throat slitting and shoooting - what made her stop? What was the ah-ha moment that she realized 'hey T is gone and will never be back'. Something broke her out of the rampage of Killing T over and over and over again.

Physical exhaustion. She brutalized him, dragged him back to the shower, then got his body in there and got in with him, showering them both off.
Then may have heard a noise, or in a panic got out before anyone came home.

Then all her cover up, then arrested.

Ahhh - physical exhaustion would be my guess. The cut throat would probably reassure her the deed was done. :banghead:

That's the picture that shows that she cut his throat at the front of the hallway and then drug him down to the bathroom.

At least that's the way it appears to me. His arms are being raised above his head and the long blood streak is going down his back. I can't decide if he has been stabbed on his back yet or not, but I think he has which is why it goes from the long streak to covering his entire back area.

Anyone else see it that way?

I believe the ME and believe the gun shot wound was the last injury. The only thing I can think of is the first stab wound, the wound that hit Travis's chest so hard that it pierced part of his heart and is fatal put him in shock. IMO the shock to Travis would be immediate with his mouth filling with blood. His youth and physical strength didn't have him crumple right there on the shower stall floor. Instead he is strong enough to stumble to the sink to spit up blood while Ms Maniac is stabbing his back and head and whatever else she can sink the blade into. He was stunned with the shock of being stabbed in the heart. IMO

If I was on this jury...I would have a major problem with her going right and into the closet where she knew a gun supposedly was...rather than going left and out the bedroom door. I mean, the bedroom door was right there! To me, that is a big hurdle and shows premeditation to go towards where she says a gun was. ( of course I know this is all a lie)

Did you catch her testimony (on direct I believe), "I don't know why I didn't go out the bedroom door. The closet door was just open, so I went in there" (paraphrased)
My thought was - that's it. She's done for now.
Nurmi, of course, went on to another topic. lol

OK...I have seen the shower photos with enough links now.

What I haven't seen is the actual POLICE photos. I need to see that shower door.

After seeing the rest of the photos, I am pretty sure that door was shut because there is reflection from the flash on some of the last ones.

That door has to be a completely clear glass door for this to fit for me though. I have no doubt it was clean, because as we can see Travis is a very neat, tidy, clean man. But it can't be that frosted glass for my newest thoughts to fit.

So I need to see those police photos of the bathroom - where can I find those? I would also like to see the rest of the photos, evidence #200 and 201 I think specifically because these mention the head wounds that were shown on Dr. Drew I think.

keep in mind that what you may be seeing as "reflection from the flash" may actually be reflection on the glossy photo papers that were displayed on the overhead in the courtroom.. just like in some of the images, you can see the tip of Juan's pen as he was going over the photograph in the courtroom..

Another thing...what woman wears long pants, never mind with black socks in AZ in June!?!?

I did not see the one on the left before.

Thank goodness she is an idiot. I mean she is obviously carrying the camera around with her. I think she was proud of this whole thing. Did she take a picture of him Dead in the shower when she was done?

Can somebody clarify something for me. Did JA testify under direct that she was in the bathroom, TA, started to chase her and she ran down the bathroom hall toward master bedroom and instead of turning left to leave the room and escape, she turned right and went into the master closet to get the gun?

I have understood it that she went from the bathroom directly to the closet and grabbed the gun. I guess I just didn't pay close attention and assumed that's how it happened b/c it seemed more logical than what she says. I am just now realizing how I understood it is different b/c JVM posted a diagram of how JA says it happened and it is different than what I thought (her going immediately into the closet from the bathroom/shower area).

All I know is that both pictures are of his back - I blew it up once then twice to show that the blood pattern dripping down is the same in both photos. It is his back. How he is in that position - I do not know.

But both images are of the same thing: Travis' bare back. It looks to me as though his throat has been slashed (the ME stated he believed this when viewing the photo on the right)... I was just trying to help folks who weren't sure what was in the photo on the left (darker photo).

HTH :)

ETA: If I can, I'll try to draw out whatever I can from the darker photo - but given the poor resolution I'm afraid there'll be too much noise in it. I'm working from the only image I could find readily, and the res isn't the greatest. I'll see. Be interesting to find that out. Good question! :)

I loved how yesterday Arias tried to say he body slammed her with one foot in the shower and one foot out of the shower.

Also loved how she said she had the "wind knocked out of her" and then said.. well maybe only a little of the wind was knocked out of her.. You know, it takes more time to recover from getting the wind knocked out of you then entire murder sequence that she visited on Travis.

Perhaps they need to re-enact that in court. Have the wind knocked out of her and see how long it takes her to recover. I'd watch.

My opinions as to what the jury is going to decide.

I think the jury is going to decide that they can not go by anything JA says, that she is not credible, even under oath.

So they are going to base their decision entirely on the facts. I think they are going to decide that it is not self-defense. But I don't think it's likely (at this point any way) that they feel the state has proven pre-meditation. Unless they think JA's grandparents gun being stolen days before the murder and being the same type of gun is more than just a coincidence. But we're talking death penalty over a coincidence and I don't think it will happen.

She showed him who was boss by continuously stabbing him probably egging him on to try and stop her and at the same time asking him how he like it. He was a strong man and he put up a fight, but after he stopped moving I think she stopped, she accomplished what she wanted, to make him suffer, especially after she sliced his throat. I have to think it was less about the rampage and furry of the moment and more about making him suffer and showing him exactly who was in charge:notgood:

The man on your TV: Meet the Arias court reporter

  • Court reporter Mike Babicky says he has reached speeds up to 300 words/minute during the Jodi Arias trial
  • Babicky has worked in Judge Stephen's courtroom since 2009
He’s in almost every shot of the Jodi Arias murder trial. He’s on a first-name basis with prosecutor Juan Martinez. And he arguably has the best seat in the courtroom. But you probably haven’t paid much attention to him.
