Yes, especially if it is on wet tile and she has towels/bathmats to use to help things alone.

Check out the pic next in line after the leg/sock foot/dragging pic - the one with a bloody object that on Thursday JM asked JA if that was "the body." She answered yes without even looking, showing her deep familiarity with all these photographs after creating a story to match the forensic evidence and years to do it.

If that object is Travis' body, then it has some kind of a fabric on top of it - you can see the edge lifted. Someone speculated it might be a blood-soaked towel.

I am single and haul heavy stuff around using blankets, rugs and towels all the time. It works beautifully on hardwood floors and to some degree even on carpet if you use sheets. Hope this helps.

I just posted that second photo, zoomed in twice - along with the 'foot/sock' photo, also zoomed, for comparison (see post #541).
I don't see any evidence of a sheet, blanket, etc., myself... :)

Also, the only place JA dragged Travis was on the tile covering the bathroom floor and the hallway between the bathroom and bedroom.

I have that *exact* same tile, same size, color, finish, everything. It is UBER-slippery when even a little water is spilled on it. You have to be careful. Added to that, blood is FAR more slippery than water...

it would be easy for JA to drag Travis around on that tile, especially if covered (entirely on some tiles - which would spread as she dragged) with blood and/or water. And if Travis was still bleeding, that would be an additional source of blood making it even easier to slide his body anywhere on that tile.

Arias 'voodoo doll' a big hit until eBay takes it down

http://www.kpho.com/story/21435429/...art=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=8524111

:cow:

IMO, it is disgusting that the name Travis was put on those doll's panties. Travis is a victim. Would anyone like to be connected with their rapist, killer, or stalker forever on a ebay product? Travis didn't even give her any panties, IMO. The doll idea maybe clever and cute, but I'm sure Travis and his Family would prefer he not be disrespected in such a fashion by having his name connected to it.

"The biggest challenge, no doubt, was the panties," which sport the first name of Arias' ex-lover, Travis Alexander, who she said she killed in self-defense in his shower in 2008."

So did she drag him with the rope? And did she pour water on the tiles to make the floor wet so he was easier to drag?

Interesting about the camera remote. The thing is when she saw the images the camera took during the murder they would have been nearly completely black, the ones we can see (and they're bad quality) have been enhanced to make anything visible. If she used the remote to try and capture the crime, when she reviewed the pics she would have thought she hadn't achieved that.

Then I believe she is carrying it around with her and just putting it down and not realizing she is snapping pictures. That to me is way way creepier than just leaving it on the counter and going about the murder. Why is she carrying the camera with her, Because she is waiting for a good shot.

In that picture his leg seems crossed over the other, it would almost have to be for him to fit. And if they were taking pictures (gunpoint or not) he might have sat like that so his privates wouldn't show

I think if it was after the stabbing it would be more of a crumple pose, I don't know how one would slump like that and end up w/ legs crossed, but I haven't tried it.

Just a little more fodder for discussion

Quite a few threads ago some sweet poster posted a close up of the pic. Both feet are flat on the floor- his legs not crossed.
I had a hard time at first with that pic - I couldn't make it make sense, but it is just the lighting that makes it look as if his legs are crossed.

I hope during rebuttal that JM will put up autopsy photos and then play the 48 hours segment that "No jury will convict me, mark my words. No jury will convict me."

I would like to see her eat her words.

I'll play Travis!:furious:

I think everyone has to buy a ticket (pays for the beer and snack stuff) except for any people in any of the groups of people Jodi Arias has maligned. I will be showing up as a non existent ninja warrior. Racing up to Jodi with several well placed ninja kicks and chops and back in my seat in the stands swigging a long pull of beer before Jodi is able to say owwie.

If Travis thought she had left and was in the shower when she returned then I would guess that the photo with the time stamp of 5:27:18 is when he first realized she was there. jmo

That's my theory too.

That picture, then the one after where he is looking down 90 seconds later is him resigning himself that she's back...and he is going to finish his shower and then deal with her. He looks dejected.

Then the one where he is looking straight into the camera 30 secibds or so later is her coming back in...frustrated he hasn't gotten out yet and is stalling.

That's how I put them together in my head anyway.

LOL!! Not sure if this will help since I surely don't want to be the first person to prove you are wrong! :floorlaugh:

But I think what you are seeing, as has been pointed out to me during one of my questions, is the reflection of the light from the overhead projector.

These pics are from actual court footage, not released as actual photos like we are used to seeing on the internet. Does that make sense?

I had a hard time with these photos until I saw the enhanced lightened one with the sock, and was able to trace the same blood patterns and see where his body was in relation that way.

I just posted that second photo, zoomed in twice - along with the 'foot/sock' photo, also zoomed, for comparison (see post #541).

Okay... I hate to admit this but.... you may have convinced me. And I say MAY so don't get all cocky. ;) And DON'T tell my husband that I may have been wrong!!! We don't need him doubting the idea that I'm always right. :D

bbm

I agree with all, nurse -- I remember her saying she saw the gun when previously cleaning for him; during the murder discussion at trial, she said she stepped up on a shelf & got the gun (which she had said previously on a TV interview, was not loaded, IIRC) & there was no ammo around -- just in the gun. :waitasec:

WRT the bbm, will Martinez call TA's friend with whom TA would go out & shoot the friend's guns? Can he?-- since the guy has already been interviewed on TV? The one who said TA would never have a .25 since they were "no good," or something to that effect, and he said that TA did not have a gun, but was considering some kind of a large hand gun -- a .45, or whatever.

Further, as meticulous and particular as TA was about his house and his things, would he have had a loaded little gun just sitting on one of his closet shelves?? Loaded, safety not on, and no ammo??? C'mon, JA, think about it... If it had been for protection, it would have been in his office desk, IMO, or beside his bed. And he wouldn't have had that small caliber gun for protection or for target shooting, IMO...Nyah, that doesn't fly at all...

I think what's interesting is that as she frantically stood on a shelf, without grabbing a shelf to help her up - btw as she (lol) testified to, not ONE thing out of place in the closet. {AMAZING!} :what:

IMHO, that was one of the points of his bringing that up, toooo neat to have been part of the murder scene.

I don't think that's true.
Can't remember where I read it - sorry.

I don't know for sure but a couple posters here told me. And one is a mod. They're never wrong!!!! ;)

Why would he knock his own camera out of her hand?

I still have problems with the glass shower door.

Don't see how / why he opened the glass door for her as it is obvious that he at some point at the end was aware she was there?

That is why I keep wondering of she had the gun pulled on him at that point and he had no choice but to get out of the shower?

Further observation:

Juan made a fairly big point of pointing out in the first "inadvertent" shot the position of the CLOSED shower door.

So at the point the camera dropped we know the door is closed. And we also know that Travis *knows* she is there.

So how does he let her open the door?????
imo because if you notice the sitting pose she had him get in his right leg is crossed over his left which was to slow him down getting up and out as she stabbed him in the chest. Not left over right. She posed him in the most vulnerable position possible. Moo

I think the remote shots (if that was the case) were accidental and she didn't even know she was taking them. During her deletion phase she probably was in such a state she didn't notice what they were (ohhh, changing my mind right here, she might have stopped to admire her photos as she deleted) or deleted the whole camera at once

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but I've been busy today.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but on direct, didn't JA say she got the gun by using a foot stool which was kept in the closet? If so, why didn't JM catch that on cross when she said she "high jumped" up there?

IIRC correctly, she said stool when she cleaned previously. If any difference, place to catch her will be on rebuttal as this phase JA is mostly trying to LOCK HER INTO answers...........not rebutting them yet. :moo:

the only time i believe she could have dropped that camera is when she plunged a knife in him and he was totally caught off guard.

I don't think she ever dropped the camera or he called her any name before she stabbed him. I think she caught him off guard taking the pictures and distracted him before she stabbed him in the heart and I suspect the camera dropped then and could have been knocked around in the scuffle. I don't believe there was any argument about the camera. I also think that stab to the heart disabled him enough so he was only be able to put up hands and try to fend off the knife attack. Then he tried to get away from her and then the stabs to the back however he attempted to get away, running or crawling.

So sad to think what was running through his mind, poor man.

Yes. They all assumed he was on his trip in Cancun.

I guess the g/f didn't smell that oder by the 3rd day coming down stairs. Does anyone know who has Napoleon now? Poor little soul. What trauma he went through that day.

She had to have carried it around because it shot pictures from different positions .. so utterly weird that when she decides to drag Travis back to the shower she thinks 'oh better get the camera and get off a few snaps' but then not actually shoot any actual images of him. Truly the strangest part of this entire case.

You know that water pouring business has always been curious to me. It's not like she really tried to clean up the crime scene. The other thing I've thought was her dousing water on Travis' body while he was still in the hallway to wash HER dna off his body before putting him back in the shower.

speaking of that, I was surprised Juan didn't question her re: getting Travis back in the shower. Even though we know she'd say she didn't remember I would have liked to hear him confront her on all the calculated behaviors she did that day in her "fognesia" (LOVE THAT!) . Putting the camera in the washer (with wash), packing her car, cleaning herself up, etc. and adding putting his body in the shower. That kind of got missed (for me).

Oh! Just had an idea. Maybe her intent was to wash her dna off of him, then with her little glass she realized she could do it more effienciently and completely by putting him in the shower to have water just running over him for a time period vs going back and forth with the glass. Maybe that is WHY she put him in the shower.
