It's kind of not logical to me. She stuffed him in the shower, then got in and washed herself off while his body was most likely blocking the drain, and everything she was washing off herself was washing off on him? I don't know, but it doesn't quite make sense to me. I think she either used the tub or the bathroom downstairs. If it was the bathroom downstairs, she stripped off her ninja costume and left the bedroom. (ETA - I think she had one of those ninja masks on --- This thing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balaclava_(clothing))...She was beyond surprised when Dett. Flores said they had a sample of her hair.

The only thing that prevents me from agreeing is the absence of blood outside the bedroom.

I don't actually believe that she altered any time or date stamp. I think she may have loaded the "dirty" pics of them onto his camera at 1:30. I think she took the shower pics at 5:22 on. If she loaded pics onto the camera, what time stamp would they have? Does anyone know? Any photographers out there?

moo

She couldn't load them onto the camera itself but you can transfer jpg files from one media card to another -- e.g. upload to computer from media card, then save the jpg to a different media card. I believe the embedded EXIF data would remain the same, but the computer file system would show the file as being created at the time it was uploaded to the computer.

I think something like this took place with one of the pictures Jodi used to show she had brown hair in May 2008. Her lawyer showed her a picture that was extracted from her computer hard drive, and the computer information showed that the file was created May 2008. However, the photo looks like it was taken at the same time as another 2007 photo on her Myspace, with the same composition, with Jodi wearing the same clothes and same hair, in 2007. If the picture was actually taken in 2007, but was uploaded to her computer in May 2008, the computer file information would indicate that the file was created on the computer in May 2008, but that is not the embedded metadata from the digital photo itself.

Ok,we all know she does everything for her own benefit and outcome.

I have always believed that jody wanted to take the stand, that's she is in control of her defense team, and she is on stage, and acting out her movie.

So after watching yesterday's testimony she had to know how to use this stage(meaning testifying) to her advantage... So she had to sell the story to the jurors best way she could! She stuck to her script in so many of the non-details but when JM wore her down she embellished her testimony on the premeditation and killing itself which ended up being her detriment. I have so much respect for JM, he was masterful and commanded her, wore her down, played with her, and than owning her on the last day, where he laid down the IMPORTANT details of that day and the coverup, wow, he owned the courtroom!

On rebuttal I want him to emphasize the fact that she came to him, she drove over 1000 miles tom his house...He most likely didn't know whe was coming....She went into his house, stabbed, shot him, ( the stab wounds in his back!) in his own home, 1000 miles away... I want the jury to take notice to that fact and compare to the actual evidence.

So I'm thinking a little deep here but do you think she intentionally did the linebacker pose wrong for a sympathy vote from jury as to (say I have a lot of mental problems so feel sorry for me kind of thing)because she realized that jm (love) had her on some things and was caught in so many lies that she had to go with the next best defense, to not get death penalty. Was wondering your thoughts, do you think she would play a ridiculous scenario out, even with all of the inaccuracies of what she is saying and be the psychopath she is or do you believe her tears were because she realized than her fight was to get any sentence without the DP?

Sorry so long...

ANJ.....I am sure NO ONE thinks you altered anything....and we appreciate ALLLllllllllllll YOU DO!!!

I saw it live and thought I heard "take a minute" then today in HLN I heard "Stick with it"

Both times plain as day... I don't know WTH is going on?????

But how about washing herself in the tub? That makes a lot more sense to me. Much easier for her to wash herself in the tub, rather than standing on top of Travis in the shower. That just doesn't compute for me.

IMO she has a soft spot for dogs.

IMO she pretended to have a soft spot for ONE dog, Napoleon... because Travis adored his dog. Otherwise, she wouldn't have even noticed the little guy if he a hula skirt on and was jumping through a flaming hoop. (safely) :)

Just going by my experience in watching all the different CSI type shows ...
I would think that the crime scene techs would have checked the tub for latent blood.
If JA had used them tub to clean up in, and thought she'd scrubbed it clean - the CSI techs would have founds blood traces there with their equipment They usually even check the tub drain pipe for blood/etc.
No, I don't think she used the tub.
Did they find her blood or DNA in the shower where TA's body was? No. They didn't. I think that there would have been a better chance of their doing so given his body obstructed a part of the flow to the drain. Step outside for a moment and look at how sparkly spanking clean that bathtub is relative to the rest of the crime scene. Alternatively, go back and listen to her tell on direct how she washed up after a sexcapade in the bathroom downstairs. She washed up somewhere. There is no evidence of it in the three locations where she could have done so. Doesn't mean she didn't wash. It means she washed well.

BC spoke to Jodi last Sunday when she said that she thinks she will get manslaughter.. I bet she has changed her tune since then. :)

Highly doubt it. She has shown no remorse and has no accountability. :banghead:

Is Nurmi a public defender? Or is she paying him? And why in the world did she talk so much to the detective without an attorney?

She had bleach with her though. She could have cleaned the tub with the bleach. I'm not sure the crime scene guys tested the tub for blood either. They were pretty directed about where they tested. It's not like they needed to find out if there was blood present anyway -- it was clearly all over the place, right there in the presence of the dead body.

You know what? I was just looking at the pictures in order. And there is like 5 back shots in the shower. I bet that is her making him turn around thinking, " Will this work? She has his back to her and is going to start stabbing and then gets him to sit down because she realizes he is most vulnerable that way. But I think all those back pictures, she was thinking she would start stabbing him then.

Laziness - and less efficient. She's not normal, remember... it wouldn't bother her in the least to stand over Travis to wash herself off. Not at all.

Yeah, I see your point. I would caution you against using your (normal human) standards of reasonable behavior to evaluate the behavior of a psychopath, but I do see your point.

She also could have been grabbing the gun and/or knife from under the sink while his back was turned. I have no doubt there was a purpose, but I think the whole thing was carefully orchestrated and planned in advance -- I think she knew she wanted him to ultimately be in a sitting position and that is when she would attack him.

No he is done with Cross for now.. Nurmi gets to re direct and then Juan can recross if more is brought up that he needs to address.

I really wanted that clip in of " I would beg for the death penalty"
But I don't think Nurmi used it so Juan can not use it .

From what I understand, Juan is limited on cross to only address things that Nurmi or JA bring up and put forth. He can not just ask her anything he wants.

Hopefully a lawyer will jump in. and correct me if I am wrong!

That should be very easy for JM because anything her attorney asks she goes on and on with so many different stories that Nurmi never her stops her from saying. Only one time I remember him stopping her. He said I don't want to talk about that now. But I don't remember what she was saying when he stopped her. uggg. At some point the defense needs to stop and bring in the experts and get her off the stand. I hated that when JM had her on the stand that Nurmi in his objections pretty much told her how to answer if it was over ruled. Seeems awfully not fair to the prosecution to me.

1. No he's a private attorney.
2. No, taxpayers are paying him.
3. Stupidity, false sense of superiority/smarter than LE.
