This may be a *really* stupid question....
I am on a private septic system ....so pretty much everything "drained" is in my buried private tank....was TA on a city sewer system? Or one like mine?
I'm sure this has been discussed ....but....

JM asks JA if at 5:31:14 (the accidental picture of the shower) if TA was still in the shower and she said yes. It was during yesterday's testimony. Also she said she was kneeling down.

So she was kneeling when he roared out of the shower and body slammed her?

I'm worried about the jury! Since the Anthony case! I pray this jury is with it. I think the difference was that the Anthony jury was sequestered! The foreman had a cruise scheduled for the next day! I think they just wanted to go home period. Judge perry spent to much time trying to appease them with movies! Different resteraunt s! They forgot what they were there for. I swore I'd never follow another trial and here I am.

Judge Perry spent more time appeasing the jury than following the trial he was charged with. The jury was stooped, stooped, stoopid and I have to say ( due to unpopular belief on this forum) that the prosecution was arrogant to the point that they didn't take the time to describe the evidence they had in hand! (We knew, we had more evidence of her crime here on WS than they ever bothered to present.) Not just the computer forensics mind you, but her every move tracked by gps!

I have no faith in the justice system until this trial is over. We could have another completely stupid jury here and we won't know until it's over. Jeez...They were asking about fingerprints for the room mates and they already were supposed to have been told that JA admitted to have killed TA!

I'm holding my breath.

I have never seen this picture. I saw another one and it had a strap. Maybe it was not a crime scene pic? I don't mean to muddy the waters but if this is an official crime scene pic and there aren't any others, of course I'll accept it as fact.

I like facts. No strap = very strange camera behaviour that defies logic.

Yes, and more then that which I feel is critical to her own defense - she was fearing for her life{lie}, then how do you explain fearing for your{JA} life against a man spewing blood from internal bleeding into the sink. What harm is he? I really want to know that answer.

Her defense is such BS I cannot stomach the outcome TA death.

I will say for TA family and JM - for their strength it should be rewarded.

I am so sorry about the loss of your son. Don't know why your mom or aunt would feel that way but they should have been there with you and for you.

Fortunately, Curious, I have grown children and my youngest son heard what happened and knew I would have to drive 500 miles for the funeral. He took leave from his job, came out and picked me up. Said he didn't want me driving alone.

That was so kind of him I have never forgotten it. My eyes were so swollen my eyelashes kept hitting my sunglasses. All my children (8) came and were there for me, as well as my exhusband, so I didn't have to put him in the ground with no support at all.

I forgave my mother and aunt in time but that's something you never forget. I honestly don't know what I would have done if any of his "friends" showed up that were responsible for his needless death. I can't imagine how his family must have felt this creature shows up for his memorial.

Not sure - but I seem to recall someone somewhere (sorry - best I can do at the moment) said there was a full bath downstairs.

If there was, my answer would remain the same. It's still another chore to have to deal with/clean up/erase tracks, prints, traces of blood and herself in an area that could otherwise be ignored.

That there is so little evidence outside the bathroom, bathroom hall and a few feet into the bedroom (the washer contents and a small drop of dried blood on it's lid being the only evidence outside that 2-3 foot area of Travis' bedroom - eta: and a downstairs sink that minor4th just reminded me of ) of the crime - leads me to believe she was clean and/or careful beyond that point and deliberately left as few traces of herself as possible.

She goofed up big time - on so much - but I do find it remarkable that the house was apparently so free of evidence - at least in the areas that were processed. Dumb luck and laser-focused priority about not leaving a blood trail - especially hers, since she was bleeding.

The jury getting to asks questions is a big plus IMO. The only thing I worry about is the jury instructions, they sometimes can confuse a jury into thinking they have limited rights. The big difference between the Anthony case and the Arias case is they have a Cause of death and evidence of her being at the scene of the crime. Arias actually admitted to committing the crime. They just have to come to the conclusion if it was premeditated felony murder or intentional murder. The difference between first degree and second degree.

This guy says he's not sure who did it but after hearing her testimony, he thinks she did it. Umm. Has he taken the time to understand that she's already said that she did it?

I'm confused about something (don't hit me!) :truce:

I'm confused about how (and if) all the things JA did after the murder, and they are numerous, in her effort to avoid arrest/detection/leave evidence she was there... everything AFTER the actual crime - is part of premeditation. (?)

I absolutely believe she planned the whole thing in advance, so I'm not disputing that at ALL. And I understand that an innocent person who killed someone in self-defense isn't likely tp act as she has (if there's even been a single case of it - ever), but I'm not quite understanding how (or if) these post-murder actions are considered premeditation... and if not - what is it? Just plain ol' damning beyond belief? I can live with that...

I'm not even sure my question makes sense - but you guys never cease to amaze, so I'm going to hope someone knows what I'm asking...

As I understand the AZ law about premeditation is conscientious of knowledge of the crime and reflection of the knowledge. The behaviors after the crime to cover up the crime is inference of guilt.

Jodi planned the crime and had the time from Yreka CA to Mesa to reflect whether or not to do the murder of Travis. She went ahead with the plan. She had time to reflect once she was in the house for several hours before she started the crime, she went through with the murder, etc.

People who murder in self defense do not cover up a crime.. that is conscientious of guilt. When one does something wrong and one doesn't want someone to know about it, one tries to cover it up or hide it.

I hope this explains it in a non legal simple manner.
