Good point about no significant blood in the closet, although i think there were sock prints leading into the closet. I guess Travis did not bleed from being shot in the head?

In one crime scene photo it looks like blood drops near the closet door. It's to the right and above (if your facing north) where she slit his throat. I think she left them when she went though the closet on her way out. Were any test done for her DNA on those spots?

I say his bedroom was north of the bathroom, according to Jodi s statement her head was facing south after Travis did the hokey pokey and body slammed her. Juan point to her landing about the middle of the tub which would be three feet from the shower.

I might be wrong but didn't JM's cross towards the end suggest that she might have burned those clothes in the desert? Did Burns ever say what she was wearing when she arrived?
I still BYW can't get over her description of "adjusting" him after she had "slept" on top of him. WTF? Adjusted meaning what?

Adjusted means a guy gets tumescent ( :great: finally get to use that word!) and the big part is well, off to one side or catching on undies......so you "adjust" it to go well.......you've done it I'm sure to your lover so 'nuff said!

You haven't looked at me in one of those magnifying mirrors.

Those blasted things should be banned after the age of 50.:great:

That and thinking that delete = gone.

Yeah, she should have spent some time following Casey trial to learn about deletion, and the Travon trial to learn about self defense!

Which would indicate that she had some kind of bag in the bathroom or bedroom right? Because there was no blood outside of the hallway and she didn't go out to her car naked to change before leaving? And wouldn't the inside of that rental car have been covered in blood if she had driven away in the clothes she was wearing for the murder?

Yep, she testified she had a backpack and carryon bag as well as laptop, camera case and purse I think that she brought in the house. Of course I don't believe a word she says about anything fully but I look for the grain of truth in all her stories. I think she brought all her murder "toys" in the backpack as a little "kit" including some kind of garbage bag that she threw everything in, including her drastically bloody clothes. She showered and changed in the house ..maybe a different bathroom...but I do think she's sick enough to have showered in Travis' shower. And redressed in her clean clothes so there was no blood in that car or the rest of the house. I do think some things may have still had blood on them hence the discarding of the floor mats. But I think she came p repared for the disposal of all she would need.

What I don't have a strong opinion on is if she knew the gun was in that washer ...or if it was an accident.

Wanna know how I've always pictured that? That she started straddling him...and he had a little , hmmm...now do I say..."compression issue in the pelvic area" and she, comfortable with the male anatomy, reached down and adjusted....ok I'll just say it, his balls. For him.

I think she either burned those clothes or just disposed them in various random dumpsters in the middle of the night along the way .

I think she was very prepared for this murder trip she took. Well packed, well organized. I don't think she stepped out of that house with one speck of blood on her, other than something she might have inadvertently gotten on the way out the door somehow.

I assumed that but the word adjust was just weird. That whole exchange was weird. Not to mention that she kept insisting that she was just sleeping on top of him. Don't know about you guys but I don't think I've ever just "slept" on top of anyone.

i think this is why JM grilled her about whether her luggage had been packed that afternoon.. and she said yes, it had.. therefore, in order for her to get out of that house without being drenched in blood, she'd have had to have some clothes stashed to make the change..

Listening to Darryl Brewer's testimony. I didn't listen to all of this the first time around - this is interesting. Seems Darryl has some pretty meaningful info, but he is reluctant to be forthcoming. In fact, he seems nervous.

Wonder what this is all about?

Perhaps his discomfort is related to the infamous penis picture - meaning the penis belonged to someone else not Travis Alexander.

I was just thinking about the towel that was in the washer. The overall color of that towel seems to be uneven and marbled. Here's the picture:

I remember seeing the neatly rolled towels in Travis's linen closet. Every towel was white in there. He didn't have any other color towel.

I wonder if this towel is blood stained and the bleach has splotched the stain.

Darryl may hold the key to unlocking the truth. If she said, hey Darryl, I am desperate for cash for this road trip i'm taking, i will sell you this great DVD player I don't need for cheap for some cash I really need.. (basically WHY she went to Darryl's) If he would admit that, the gun theft would be tied in. He is so obviously willing to lie for her, it will never happen.

So you're saying Nurmi was tumescent when he adjusted his twigs and berries in court Thursday? :)

Actually I respectfully disagree... :)

Excerpt:
-- Police from Yreka, Calif., where Arias lived with her grandparents, described the scene of the home when Arias's grandparents reported a break-in. The door was pushed in, breaking the door jamb, and many drawers were opened in Arias' bedroom and her grandparents' room.

The only things reported taken were the handgun, a DVD player, and $30, while other valuable items, including a large pile of quarters and three other guns, were left untouched. Arias told police that her laptop computer was not taken because she had hidden it in a laundry basket covered with clothes.

Officer Kevin Friedman of the Yreka police department told the court today that burglary struck him as odd.

"I believed it was unusual that small items worth money or money, for instance, that the change was not taken," said Officer Kevin Friedman, of the Yreka police department, who investigated the alleged robbery. "I also thought it was strange that only one of the firearms was stolen from the cabinet."

This account varies from what JA maintained on the stand, which was that she always had the laptop with her and that's why it wasn't stolen.

So she stole her grandpappy's 'toy-looking' gun and $30 from herself, but she was unable to steal her own laptop because it wasn't there when she burgled the residence -- because it was with her.

Is that an example of what she meant by not being able to keep her lies straight?

ME's report does not support that theory based on the angle and path of the bullet. Also JA said yesterday that the gun went off before he actually made physical contact with her. She did not accidentally pull the trigger. She did say one thing in her ninja story that I believe is the truth. When she fired the gun the first time it did not go off, just clicked, (i.e, dry fired) Most responsible gun owners do not leave a bullet chambered and ready to fire in a semi-automatic gun. If that was the case with her gf's gun then she would have to have fired a second time to shoot him. The first pull of the trigger would have automatically chambered a bullet for her.

BBM - GREAT CATCH!!! Put that in the rebuttal thread :rocker:

Yeah, she's so brilliant she can't even stage a robbery properly, never mind a murder.

Zipper on jogging pants? Still really heavy for a Summer's day in the desert.

Indoors with the A/C blasting, *maybe*. Makes me think JA may have simply had appropriate summer clothes on under her 'murder clothes' - like shorts and a tank top.

  • #277
I still don't understand about her using bleach. Eyesight is old and getting older. I don't see it. How do they know she used bleach?

In some of the other photos, bleach damage to dark items like she poured bleach directly on the clothes, vs, through the dispenser like most suzy homemakers know to do imho

Could the floormats have had some kind of desert dirt on them that would be specific to Arizona? What was her excuse for the missing mats when she returned the car? Did she just say it never had mats in it when she got it?

That and thinking that delete = gone.

Working in IT, this is SO true! After she deleted everything she should've taken pics of the floor until the SD card filled up. Then deleted it all again. Repeat for good measure.
