I guess it depends on the area. A friend just moved here from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and she said Florida was all very liberal. As for Casey's jury, they were just lazy and didn't try to do their jobs.

What about the OJ jury? IMO, They had no common sense.

I lived in Fl most of my life. You can't base your opinion on a state because of one case. I watched many people go to jail and death row in Fl. I saw many like a guy named Ted Bundy die in the electric chair. I blame the media more than I do the jury for CA being found not guilty. As a matter of fact most of those jurors thought she was guilty. Believe me CA is not roaming the streets and bars the way she use to. She will always have one eye open even when she's asleep. O.K back to our regularly scheduled program.

If I am wrong about the state being liberal, okay. But those Pinellas 12 were idiots. Dumb. They did not think she was guilty. They wanted the state to have the murder on video or they weren't buying it. Saw picture of Casey and her current legal team about a month ago and she was partying! Do you think she is afraid? No. She knows what she got away with and hasn't lost a minute of sleep in my opinion. She is still looking for the big payout. Makes me sick. Little Caylee never got justice. Even JM couldn't have convinced those jurors. IMO?

I agree... But I also like the theory she was staging the scene to look like two intruders committed the murder.

I think the bleach was for the blood. There would be no blood on the sheets. Her concern would be hair, DNA. She'd have to wait, but she was there anyways it looks like. Even so, she may have used bleach on the sheets.

How do we know the bed even had sheets on it when she got there? Do any of the pictures on the bed show sheets?

They are lying on the comforter for the pics, IIRC.

She always uses too many details when she lies. I thought her description of taking a video of them having sex and then erasing the video was extremely suspicious in this regard. Why throw that in? Except to 'prove' you had sex.

However, bleach does not get rid of blood that well. Hydrogen peroxide does. Thankfully she did not know that

Exactly. He would have been gasping for air, coughing up blood, and trying to survive long enough to escape her. And as he is attempting to get away she is stabbing him in the back until he reached where she slit his throat.

What a gruesome, horrific, torturous death.

Well I think it was used to further the idea that he was a sexual deviant. My earlier impression from direct was that her story was that he became increasingly violent because she knew his secret, which ultimately led to her having to kill him in self defense.

Through cross that wasn't really touched upon by her or JM, and felt like it was solely due to a dropped camera.

BBM. I felt like, by the end of cross, it was abundantly clear who the real sexual deviant was. Man, she was not the modest, shy little thing anymore once JM got done with her.

I've been going over many of the texts from April/May 2008... Travis was one angry fellow (for good reason, in my mind).

Then I read JA's long letter (written in mid-May, 2008 I believe) - WOW... it is chilling. More on that later if I don't get sidetracked.

One little potential discovery I made was in an IM/chat exchange between JA and Ryan Burns. JA describes confronting Travis about cheating, even though they were no longer bf/gf. Telling Ryan she read emails and/or when through Travis' phone - who assured her he had no interest in (whomever).

No, she was talking about that day. JA has this way of bringing in parts of the past when she is talking about the present, as a way to confuse people. jmo

I agree she was talking about 2 different photo shoots to the detective on the tape but the prosecuter was trying to say that she had to talk TA into shaving the day of the murder and that was not what was said on tape. She said she talked him into shaving (because he uses an old style razor ect.) took those pics and he put them on the blog.

Agree... But IMO they were forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel for them during jury selection.

I just read this. It jumped out at me that Travis and Jodi only knew each other a year and a half! I don't know why I had not done the math before, and I knew that they were only "official" for 5 months -- but for some reason I've always had in my mind that they knew each other for 3 or 4 years.

That's just totally crazy that they only knew each other for such a short time. Completely undermines the "battered woman" tale even more.

I think it's because we hear 2006 2007 and 2008 and think three years instead of the months. It'd must of been hell for Travis.

ITA Katiecool. I really think she has an evil spirit in her. That's why she can lie and mince words with ease. After all, the devil is the greatest liar, yes? I pray she doesn't get acquitted, but sadly, I wouldn't doubt it because I believe she may have a supernatural power helping her. Our justice system doesn't know how to fight invisible forces such as these, only the church does.
