Maybe she was planning to 'discover' him since it was taking so long to happen?

OH, yea. She must have been surprised when it took so long for him to be found.

As much as I would love to know, and would buy the book, maybe his last thoughts should be kept private.

If anything about her is in there maybe they should jet sleeping dogs lie. So to speak.
Not give her the satisfaction.

I think if it was important to him it should be published. Maybe he wanted to warn other young Mormons not to get manipulated into a relationship. How to be strong and if someone talks them into something that is wrong not to let yourself become weak. He wrote this book for a reason and hopefully the reason was not to let the Jodi's of the world into your life.

Well it has been a pleasure talking with everyone. It's snowing here, so the only thing that will get me outside is my dogs. It's freezing. Talk to you all soon.

Several times in testimony, Jodi has said she is practicing her religion while incarcerated. Does she honestly believe she would ever be allowed into the Temple again? Had she ever been allowed into the Temple?

FYI: These statements are not meant as insults to any religion, but coming from the perspective of Jodi's exploitation of them. I don't think Jodi will continue to identify as LDS. Not only because Travis isn't around anymore, but their stance on murder is stricter than some churches (she says it's self defense but she knows what she did). Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if in prison she grabs onto another faith for easier forgiveness, exploitation and attention.

I distinctly remember JA stated earlier on that she used the stool in the closet to reach the gun. I remember that!! So why did Juan let her get away with saying she put her foot on the shelf to get the gun. He's way to clever to let this pass. Something's up here.

She said she had used the stool to "dust" his shelves off when he had asked her to do this on one of her cleaning jobs, and thats when she saw the gun first. :floorlaugh:
Have no fear Juan is here!!

I bet Jodi was always checking the news in the area, and phone to see if she missed any calls.

Travis' friends knew right away it was Jodi and told the initial 911 operator.

Thanks to GetSmart for all the information on the gun.
I missed some of the prosecution's case. Did he show the jury a picture of the gun and explain how easy it is to conceal on the body?

Maybe off topic but has anyone researched the knives that are made specifically for women? Colt in particular makes some outstanding knives. Other companies make knives specifically for wounding (or killing) that have handles like guns that are easy to hold onto and are deadly. I could see JA having one like this. JMO

How did JA get transported from CA to AZ after in custody? Anyone know?

  • #354
I can't find the photo of Travis' closet that I saw yesterday. I Googled and found lots of photos, some of which I had not seen before at WildAbout Trial, but none of the closet. I'm wanting to see if the closet is carpeted and if there was blood on the carpet/floor.

Did Jodi claim they were still in the closet when she shot him? (And, NO, I don't believe a word of how SHE says it went down!)

I don't know for sure in this case, but usually the LE dept. that is requesting the extradition transports by car.:twocents:

Those texts, where Travis called her a sociopath, were talked about on direct. Maybe that's why JM didn't bring it back up. I don't know, but I am sure he has his reasons. I think the defense thought it would show that TA was verbally abusive or something.

Your post made me think about when Travis told her to move to Antarctica. On Friday's 48 Hours she said that she and Travis made a pact that they would attend each other's funerals and that Travis said he would, "give your eulogy even if you die in Antarctica." Me thinks what he really said is he would DANCE ON HER GRAVE, even if she died in Antarctica.:furious:

No she claims she ran out of the closet and into the bathroom and shot him as he lunged at her. The closet is carpeted but there was no blood on the carpet/floor.

Can someone verify these timestamps?
If they are correct, I very much doubt she dropped the camera, got bodyslammed, rolled up, into the closet and moved his body into the shower in a span of ONE minute.

PICTURE IS TOO LARGE TO DISPLAY

Yes, the time stamps are the ones that were testified to by LE. Isn't she amazing that she can do all that in a little over one minute? I hope this is stressed in Juan's closing.

P.S. She also JUMPED UP and retrieved the gun in that time span.We need to enter her in the 2014 Olympics.
