That whole roommate thing is weird to me. TA's friends said they could smell the decomposition as soon as they walked in. So, I am still confused about why his roommates didn't notice it. And what was going on with the dog at this time?

I've been wondering if maybe the smell wasn't that bad in the house. I'd think that the ac would be on and maybe that kept his body cool. And I'm sure the shower was a cool spot to. Does that make sense? And the door to his bedroom was closed, that may have helped keep the odor in his bedroom.

The only thing I can think of is she was going to keep them as souvenirs. Then, as someone posted earlier, she might have seen the picture of her foot/leg and decided to delete them. The washing machine would help delete, plus get her fingerprints off.

Which brings up another question. If she had planned on killing him from the get-go and not giving him a chance to live, what would be the point of the naked pictures? The whole thing is twisted and confusing!

I said earlier I don't think she had any idea what was in those last photos. The police didn't either until they had them enhanced.

Speaking of that.........I'd give anything to have seen det. Flores's face when he realized what he had. Can you imagine?

Something made the car smell! I can't quite envision her having a roadside bonfire for the evidence, especially in the heat, and so close to the car and it's gas cans.

:waitasec:

MOO

Maybe at some point mm was in the car with her.
Do he smoke?

I don't understand why I have to sign up for my own radio show in order to chat. :waitasec:

Oh well... I'll just listen.

I'm curious about the attorney she said she consulted prior to calling Flores... She said she received counsel from an attorney about what to do, and she immediately did the opposite. I believe she said she ignored his advice. me --> :great:

I wonder if he or she was ever contacted by JM or KN/JW...

Kind of intriguing...

Okay, okay, bring on the PPL jokes! - Hey, maybe it was someone from PPL! Never know! Her parents might have a family/business attorney from their restaurant businesses, but I doubt JA had a personal lawyer awaiting her call... unless it only cost a buck-nineteen a month!

Who needs a lawyer when your personal mentor is Gus 'I Invoke My 5th Amendment Right Not To Incriminate Myself Even Though I've Not Been Charged With Anything' Searcy?

Were there any wildfires burning along her circuitous route?

I read on wikipedia tht Travis' dad (Gary Alexander) died on his 20th birthday, note the flowers JA sent to his paternal grandmother were sent on Travis' 30th birthday, weird, since it seems JA was into 'symbology'?

There was a greek goddess by the name of Iris:

Iris is the Greek goddess for the Messenger of Love, her sacred
flower is considered the symbol of communication and messages.

Greek men would often plant an iris on the graves of their beloved
women as a tribute to the goddess Iris, whose duty it was to
take the souls of women to the Elysian fields.

Elysian Fields: in Greek mythology, the final resting places of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous.

I think there was a message in the 20 flowers. Maybe someone else can add to this or have some another theory. I don't think it was coincidence.

I gather we can add this to the list of things we will never know.:what:

I have often wondered what the chatter was when those pictures were found. All of them, not just the last 3.

Even when she got off the stand the day she was crying, and nurmi went up to comfort her. She just walked right around him.
I think the dislike is a mutual feeling.

When she finished her cross exam Thursday and left the stand she was pretty upset and crying at the defense table. Her attorneys were doing that quick hearing. Nurmi was standing there speaking but Wilmott was seated by crying Jodi. She did not look at her, rub her back, say anything to comfort Jodi. She kind of leaned away fom Jodi and pretended to listen to Nurmi. Jodi eventually got a piece of paper and began writing/drawing. I think she scares her own attorneys!

I had never heard him speak other than the taped phone conversations with Jodi. Heartbreaking to see and hear him on the Bachelor Smachelor You Tube Video. He was so charismatic.

She tried to plead down to 2nd degree murder.

That is what the state rejected.

Defendants often try to 'blackmail' families into pressuring the State to settle, thereby sparing them the mudslinging and pain associated with reliving the realities of the actual crime, especially in cases like this one.

No dice, JA.

Her handiwork was so off-the-charts brutal and so far beyond self defense, that the deck is stacked against her, not the prosecution.

That's why she tried to plead down.

Despite her claims to the contrary -- "No jury will ever convict me, and you can mark my words on that" -- she knows full well that her guilt proved beyond a reasonable doubt may very well land needles in "two usable veins"; the second being necessary should occlusion or malfunction occur in the first.

If she thought that little Bic nick was so painful, even on the Advil, just imagine what she'll do when the needles are inserted, and the reality of those seconds presses down with immovable emotional tonnage upon her spirit.

I do not believe she will be so concerned with her makeup, correcting the prosecutor, or keeping her lies straight in that moment.

:floorlaugh: Well that Little Bic NIck STUNG :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

Kevin Spacey's character is light years smarter than Jodi. Just sayin'.

according to her myspace interests she could be the next stephen hawking or the likes :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: she comes across as about as sharp as a marble :floorlaugh:

Totally agree.

But I'm talking about the attorney JA said she consulted with PRIOR to making her first call to Det. Flores on the 9th or 10th of June, 2008, right after they found Travis.

She mentioned speaking to an attorney before she called Flores, and said she ignored the advice they gave.

I was just curious who this was and if whatever she may have said would be protected (most likely). She never gave a name for the lawyer she spoke to that night...

On a happier note, I picture big ol Nurmi squeezed into a jailhouse chair all weekend tutoring Arias for her next "appearance".
I hope it's beautiful outside this weekend, and all three are stuck inside a lousy jail cell.

Rest assured, it's been a gorgeous weekend here, especially Friday and Saturday. I love the image of Nurmi squeezed into a jailhouse chair with the knife-wielding chatterbox for hours on end! :floorlaugh:

I bet there was no attorney because they would have told her to keep quiet. Of course, even if there was an attorney, she would not have told them the truth.
