Reasonable doubt? Absolutely.
Reasonable doubt that Travis owned a gun? Yes. I'd say the doubt is even stronger that he didn't have one. I don't think the 'it was Travis' gun' will go anywhere.
Besides, owning a gun isn't a crime (in general), and JA has already testified that if there was a gun there, SHE and she alone ran and got it, pointed it at Travis and shot him with it.
So it's six of one - half a dozen of the other.
JM can easily prove premeditation on that scenario - she 'knew' where this gun was (this loaded gun - on an open shelf !!) from prior surveillance-cough-house cleaning.
So even with her 'story' - SHE brought a loaded gun to an unarmed-naked-wet-man fight. Unequal force, premeditation, etc.
But she brought the gun with her, so there is that, too.
