Reasonable doubt? Absolutely.

Reasonable doubt that Travis owned a gun? Yes. I'd say the doubt is even stronger that he didn't have one. I don't think the 'it was Travis' gun' will go anywhere.

Besides, owning a gun isn't a crime (in general), and JA has already testified that if there was a gun there, SHE and she alone ran and got it, pointed it at Travis and shot him with it.

So it's six of one - half a dozen of the other.

JM can easily prove premeditation on that scenario - she 'knew' where this gun was (this loaded gun - on an open shelf !!) from prior surveillance-cough-house cleaning.

So even with her 'story' - SHE brought a loaded gun to an unarmed-naked-wet-man fight. Unequal force, premeditation, etc.

But she brought the gun with her, so there is that, too. :)

Jodi Arias reminds me of a lizard. Cold blooded and capable of remaining still for long periods to capture their prey or because their 3 electron brain shut down for the day.

My term is lot lizard...

There is no evidence he owned a gun. The person saying he did own one is on trial for her life because she killed him. That doesn't equal "reasonable doubt."

Just to add that she is a proven liar.

JM appeared to have put in the wrong DVD clip of the Flores interview, one in which she was crying. There was just a brief portion shown of JA crying but what she was actually saying was indistinguishable because objections were raised immediately talking over the clip playing. JM meant to put in a clip of one of her lies during the interview but the wrong part was played. It was not a big deal but probably prosecution didn't want extra crocodile tears of hers (and out of sequence) to affect the jury, and after sidebar Judge said to disregard that.

OR- he *wanted* the jury to see how easily she cried on queue when she was admittedly LYING. So perhaps Juan's "mistake" was a brilliant subtle revelation of how meaningless her crocodile tears are like she started to ooze earlier. Maybe that's why DT jumped in with the objections.

Unfortunately, I think the killer/defendant is doing pretty good on the stand. She's working the emotional aspect going for 2nd degree, imo. I don't see Juan fazing her that much.
,
It will be interesting to hear from JM, if , he gives interviews after the trial.

She's a hard nut to crack. same demeanor and stamina that she showed during her interview with Detective Flores.

Wonder if she killed in the same unemotional methodical way ?

Wow I guess that shows two people can see the same thing and have totally different preceptions. This has been the best day so far for the state.

She is horrible and being exposed as a liar over and over again. Her demeanor is off..she argues about the simpliest things. Just because she spars and could be Bill Clinton's press secretary on the meaning of definitions:floorlaugh: doesnt mean she is doing well imo.

IMO

ROFL!

Are you from Georgia, by chance? A friend of ours from Atlanta showed us that lady saying that --it was hilarious!

I'll be in that fine State next week....:great:

No, Chicago. It's nation wide. She was on several shows like Kimmel, Watch What Happens Live. There are a ton of great memes using that screen shot of her with the punch line "Ain't nobody got time fo dat"

I know there are skilled folks here who can make one.

when we first got back from lunch, nurmi asked if we were going to view something and then a incredibly long side bar... did anyone catch what we were going to be viewing?

Why is she crying?

Yes, we are to keep a journal as a personal record. I would say since she wrote about their sexcapades she didn't keep one for this reason.

Thanks, I thought I had read that somewhere -- something about journals from the early days of the Mormons being an invaluable historical record.

IMO, Jodi kept that journal thinking that someone would read it. Travis, maybe? It seems to be carefully crafted to present a specific picture of herself. Diane Downs did the same thing, for the same reason, and was very insistent that the cops take it (and read it). But since Jodi's seems to contradict everything she is saying now, I think it backfired on her.

The only gun she ditched is the one she took from her grandparent's house.

That has not been proven.

To my satisfaction it certainly has. The statistical probability of a .25 caliber being stolen from her grandparents literally days before the very same, relatively unpopular, caliber is used to kill her ex-boyfriend, in another state?

Astronomical in my opinion.

OH is Jodi crying real tears? poor little lamb.

  • #359
Haha she doesn't know what to do with herself so she's fake crying .. 2 seconds ago she was trying her hardest to eavesdrop on the sidebar, and trying to read the crowd. Ridiculous.

oh would you look at the defendant now. Head in hand. Poor pitiful me.
