I am extremely pleased the way the cross has gone. Everything he has said has been quite logical and filled with commonsense to me........something that JA does not have.

There is going to be a conviction for first degree imo. I have no doubt whatsoever.

If one read the link I put up this morning he is handling JA perfectly. It talked about how to cross examine a sociopath and he is spot on.

The only one that goes off on a illogical tangent is the defendant.

IMO

Agree- The jury can see what she is doing and she can be no other way.

I am not sure if the jury is sympathetic but I agree with you with about the prosecution. He brought up the KY and Vaseline and I have no idea why. IMO, he needed to bring his point home then. What was Martinez getting at regarding the hiking pics with TA, JA and the bro and sis and their heights? Was anyone standing on the rock? IDK what he was trying to prove with question either.

The pictures showed that she was almost as tall as Travis. So she would have been able to fight with him fairly.

The KY/Vaseline discussion had to do with the defense claims that she was an unwilling sexual partner and was forced into all of these sexual acts.

But now the jury sees that she was into anal since she was 17. And in that text she asked for a 'facial.' So it was not Travis being the sexual abuser at all. She was just as into it as he was.

Well I actually came home early from work today due to a migraine which included vertigo, nausea and the verge of tears due to losing another vacation day to this disabling condition. When a migraine comes on for me, my coworkers know it immediately by the look in my eyes! I was home and unable to have the trial on due to noise or light. I do believe she may have had a low blood sugar headache due to not eating, but a light snack and an advil would have been enough to carry on the rest of the day! Someone pack her a granola bar and an aspirin tomorrow and let this trial carry on as planned! I agree with all that wish Judge Perry would take over this trial. One more thing...thank you WS for keeping me up to date at work, you are all the very best sleuths!!!

I am a mirgraine sufferer as well, so I can totally sympathize with you and am sorry you had such a bad one today! I hope that once you got home you were able to lay down and take something to ease the pain. Migraines are the worst pain I've ever experienced in my 40+ years on this earth! Feel better!

Imitrex works miracles for me. I also need to make sure I eat correctly (no nitrates and no wine for sure) and make sure I have lots of water. Magnesium rich foods help too, I believe.

Personally, I think Jodi was faking migraine today. She certainly didn't appear to be suffering any pain up on the stand earlier today when she was sparing with JM!

I recorded the trial's afternoon session. JVM said it ended early because Jodi had a migraine and court ended early. How early did it end?

  • #246
She blurted out "j**z" for real? That's what I get for watching HLN's broadcast of the trial. Heck, they for some reason think ejaculation is a bad word and cut the sound on that word.

Sorry but the word "j**z" is something only porns and teens use for the most part. I don't recall talking to any female adult who uses the term and believe me my friends and I can have some very dirty conversations.

I never heard the word before. She needs the time to think up why she used that term. I don't think she will get the chance on cross and I hope Nurmi let's sleeping dogs lie. I think if she claims she got the word from Travis, it will never fly. He was not that worldly and did not travel in those types of circles. jmo

I'm not surprised she'd have a migraine if she did not eat. She should be able to eat lunch. That is cruel if it's true. Some people do not eat lunch, myself included in that group, unless it is something special. But I'm not testifying in a trial so while she is on the stand she should be able to eat at lunchtime. I just can't imagine why her defense team decided to stop court right in the middle of a cross when they had to have known about this all along. What is the matter with them? Did they save it for when Juan was putting the pressure on her? It's not up to Juan to ask her if she has had lunch. jmo

Geez, and you believe this?????

Even if the lack of food were true , it is not cruel. Please, let's leave cruelty to the 29 stab wounds on Travis' body, and the gunshot to his head, and the slitting of his throat almost to the point of decapitation. Let's remember the blood gushing from his throat in that photo where she's dragging him back to the bathroom.

Is everyone taking crazy pills here???????

3:30 AZ time Jodi said a naughty word. One to make your EMU's blush.

The scary thing is, though, that you never know how the jury is perceiving something (whisper, "CA trial".) We have the benefit of other posters, talking heads, etc., but if a juror got it into his or her head at the beginning that Jodi is a victim of Travis and of the prosecutor, they could be looking at everything said in a totally different way than we do. They could discount and justify the inconsistencies and lies just the way Jodi is doing. They could be thinking the same things that some of the more outrageous "experts" are saying. I hope, hope, hope not. But, after the CA trial, I promised myself to always keep in mind that what I think is obvious is not going to necessarily be obvious to others.

Think how obtuse and willfully ignorant posters seem if they don't agree with your position on one case but how wise and insightful the very same ones seem on another case where they do agree with you.

Must say, I don't believe one word Jodi says.

I went to Pilates the other day and my instructor said 'I'm so glad you weren't here an hour ago.' Seems a client was there who's a big jodi fan. Totally believes her BS. My instructor said she almost had to change rooms.

They are out there. I just hope there isn't one (or more) on that jury.

. not abused or manipulated was based on her having a migraine and not getting enough calories thus rendering her confused.

Yeah but she was getting enough calories when Nurmi was talking to her for 9 days.

Nurmi whispered in her ear on the stand and told her to have a migraine.

Christine LaCroix's Article -- AZFamily.com February 21, 2013
http://www.azfamily.com/news/Attorn...erfering-with-judicial-process-192389651.html

"Attorney: Sheriff Joe Arpaio's lunch and sleep policies interfering with judicial process"

States that defendants held in County Jail are only given 2 meals daily; breakfast and dinner at 6PM. It also states that legally no one except the Sheriff's Department can provide food to the defendants.

Personally - I'll be surprised if Sheriff Joe Arpaio changes his policy to provide Jodi Arias an additional meal during her trial to accomodate her migraine headaches. But, that's just my opinion after reading this article. MOO

There you go, the reason for her fake migraine. Nurmi read this article a couple days ago and told Jodi to have a migraine today. I bet in the morning, he sites mistrial.

Catching up on footage now... you know on a personal level I loooove "bulldog" JM but honestly when he was softer with her in the afternoon at points she looked petrified because she didn't have the adrenaline rush and hyperfocus from aggressively sparring with him and enjoying 'getting to him.'

You do know that Coldpizza is a Dolphins fan right? She may be lovely, but why would somebody, other than CP's husband, want to marry her. :giggle:

This is about Travis's good name being restored
without any of Jodi's lies to taint it.
Travis was a victim before Jodi killed him.
Travis was a victim when Jodi killed him.
Jodi is not a victim. Jodi is the killer.
The next step is to put Jodi on Death Row.

Juan will do it, IMO.

  • #257
Holy cow. Ok that is stupid...if true. I don't mind some of Sheriff Joe's tactics but getting up at 3 or 4 am and having breakfast then and waiting until 6pm for dinner? No...I don't agree with that. That would mess me up all kinds.

Not sure if this is absolute because it is wikipedia after all... but this says inmates only eat twice per day anyways. If that is the case, it's been her standard for almost 5 years now...

It was not Jodi who didn't want to continue. It was her DT. Something BIG is up IMO. Jodi no doubt thinks she's a STAR; the DT knows she's out of control.

Just a hunch.

45 minutes early
