I've thought that from the beginning, not that JM isn't doing a good job but seeing Kelly make mincemeat out of JA would be so rewarding. She would rip that liar apart

And in a Harris county tx courtroom, she'd be allowed to do it.

I thought today was good for JM at times, but I sure hope he brings up TA killing way more often - especially when JA tries to muddle.swing what he says. For instance he did a great job proving JA is not a victim of any sexual sort, but an aggressor or major participate in their sex lives. When she answered she felt like a prostitute, I wish JM - would have asked we all having feelings v facts, but did you talk to TA about this?

If yes, then do you have any written/verbal witnesses? No of coarse not.

Finish with, does that equate to you a reason to murder him?

Hate to disagree with you lil_buddy (I usually don't!)...

I think snooping is absolutely toxic to any relationship (including looking in medicine cabinets of friends, etc.)

If you snoop and find something hurtful or secret - you're either stuck with that knowledge or you have to come out with it, proving you're a snoop... so either way - game over. It destroys trust. Period.

If I don't trust someone, I keep my distance. If I'm concerned about my partner - I ask openly. I found out my ex was an obsessive cheater because he left evidence in plain sight. Multiple times. Denied everything.

I have lived with my current housemate for years - I have never looked at his phone, computer (I look away from computer screens unless invited by the person using it to see something), opened any of his office or bedroom drawers...

I believe in simple respect for privacy and manners. And I expect the same back.

I read a post earlier/yesterday in which someone commented that "all women snoop" and that really got me a little frosted.

It is so unhealthy and so disrespectful of the person being snooped on.

When it comes to kids - I made it clear that if they ever gave me a valid reason to snoop on them - in any manner I chose, then I would - and it would be a consequence of their behaviour, thus my concern for their safety or health or whatever. Sometimes their honesty has been unexpectedly difficult, but far better than the alternative.

That's my view, anyway... I know lots of people disagree with me - that's fine as long as they don't snoop on anyone in my world. :)

I regret not snooping on a guy - I would have found out a lot sooner that HE WAS MARRIED.

"Jake", a friend and supporter of Jodi Arias, is talking to Nancy Grace right now. He writes to her in jail. He fully believes that she acted in self defense. He explains the stabs to the back, slitting of the throat and then shooting him as just "over kill".

It is truly amazing to me how this woman can con and manipulate men to believe her and I hope to God that the men on the jury have the intelligence to see past her lies and the little, poor me act.

Remember the 8-9 days Nurmi droned on and on coaching lies out of Jodi. Whining about sex and small underwear - all of it just lies.

Jodi committed Premeditated Murder of an innocent man in his shower in a horrific way. She has put the family and friends of Travis through torture, and her own family through years of shame. Take your time Juan, put her through the all her paces.

It's Prosecution's turn and he can take as much time as he wants. Juan is clearing out so many inconsistencies. Heck, I think even Jodi is finding this therapeutic. Cheering Juan on to take as long as it takes to clear the name of Travis of all of Jodi's lies. Nail that jello Jodi to the wall and get some truth out of her.

I'm not sure you're watching the same trial I am (??) :)

Are you new to this case? Lots of new WSers are - maybe checking out some of the other threads will help?

I was going to say the same thing. Perhaps on the wrong trial thread? Just figured it was easier to ignore tho.

I know there arent a lot NG fans here but gosh she cracks me up sometimes. LOL

Nancy Grace is more melodramatic even than Jodi Ann Arias.

However, JA on the stand is coming off as a cold, calculating, contentious liar.

How will JA answer juror questions?? Will the jury have to ask and re-ask to get the answer?

Oh, SNAP!!! :) That's right - since she's the witness, she has to answer their questions herself.

Wow. THAT will be absolutely fascinating... The DT will work their unmentionables off to have as many juror questions deemed unsuitable, I'll bet.

Just watching video from today. I NEEEEEED someone to PUH-LEEEEEEEESE TELL Me the jury is mentally sharpening that DP needle as she speaks… PLEASE??? Please?? ...please? Someone? Anyone? I know I am, and I *thought* I was anti DP….
:please::please::please:

Now THAT is a fabulous question! I guess, that she will be able to answer ad-nauseum blah-blah-blah-blah...Or maybe the DA will/have already instructed her as to how to deal with juror questions?

I bet it takes awhile for them to fight over what questions she gets. Mine would be "so, jodi, you really killed him just to end your own pain over the fact that he didn't love you and you couldn't have him, right?'

I doubt the judge would let that one in.

:blushing: I have. And ended up breaking an engagement over it. Red Flags of him online in middle of night (he was chatting) led me to sleuth him........ and then dump him. :blushing: and yep.........on my way out the door, I let the girl that he was seeing know that we had been living together, and what was happening on my end. I know that many many think that doing such is an invasion of privacy, but I'll be d*(*ed if I get into a marriage with someone like that. (And the man.....lied through his teeth)... Nope, I didn't kill him......just moved on.

Don't throw rotten apples please!

no apples - i have a lot of friends who do that - even if they are broken up, but it is def. part of jodi's MO and might take it to a higher level than most - imo

Thank you for understanding.

yes - here in cali the DP is more a theoretical arguement out here cuz we barley ever use it - in 36 years only 13 ppl were put to death and 56 died of natural causes and since 2006 we have a moratorium because the lethal injection procedure they use is being debated as cruel - but imo i would like to see her on death row if only because then she will end up in a solitary cell (here they stay in solitary and get 1 hour a day outside their cell) and if jodi has no one to to talk or give her attention - that would be jodi's hell - imo

I think the state would have been better off with a female prosecutor. Juan is too "aggressive" and she is using using this as excuses for HER behaviour.

but by martinez being so aggressive and she isn't cowering like an abuse victim actually worse for her??

I agree. Since it is the judge who actually reads the question to Jodi and will be expecting an answer to follow, it will be interesting to see if Jodi starts the "stupid act" to stall answering the question.

I am really ready for Mr Martinez to go into the actual murder. I'm wondering how he can get her to talk about the stabbing. I just can't let that go. I'm not sure the Jury needs it, but It bothers me she skipped right over it.

That would be one question I'd have for her if I was a juror

Nancy counting out all the stab wounds. I want JM to do this in his closing.

Migraine headaches?

Am I the only one who thinks that incisive wounds to the head and the gunshot through the cranium may have hurt Travis's head more than a little?

You are absolutely not alone with that thought! The pain Travis must have endured is unimaginable.....torture. His killer can't stand a nick to her wrist (?) in her aborted "suicide attempt" and today can't proceed further during cross-examination due to an alleged migraine headache.

Hello All..... I've been following this trial by watching Croakerqueen123's uploads and whatever else I can find! I just wanted to say hello and say that this site is so great! I've never been one to watch trials, but this one has me hooked like crazy.

I don't even know how to reply to this other than to say that even murderers on death row, statistically are not put to death. MOST die from natural circumstances in prison. This is not some argument for/against the DP, it's just a fact.

With respect, the last part of your last sentence tells me you really do not understand the pain this has caused to his family . If you were to tell me that you lost a family member to a heinous murder I would believe you. But based on that comment, I'm sorry, it's not something I would lend credibility to. They know nothing will bring Travis back, believe me. They know nothing will soothe their pain, especially right now while they are dealing with this trial and this hideous monster continuing to torture them from the stand daily.

I think that's all i can to this.

Kath, I have tears in my eyes. I am 100% pro dp. You explained how you feel perfectly.
