I'm a little slow getting here, But, as someone who suffers the occasional migraine, this is a bunch of dunky dust. The lights hurt your eyes, normal sounds are way too loud, you just want to lay your head down. You are not craving a peanut butter sandwich, you feel like throwing up. Also, this constant bantering with JM gives him more information to use against her now, and she is smiling and being so arrogant, like she is winning over him. This does not a battered woman make. MOO
It is highly unusual to go through every boyfriend's emails, text messages and phone records. I have never done it. Most women and men I know have said they don't or never have done such a thing.
That said, there is a breed of woman I have met who do this regularly. I call them the drama mamas. They are constantly accusing their significant other of cheating, constantly need to know exactly where the other is at all times, every minute of the day, when their man is even five minutes late it causes all sorts of suspicion and drama, the guy invariably pays for an extended time, whether he has done anything shady or not. Eventually the guy feels like WTH? I am paying for the crime so why not at least enjoy committing it?
These drama mamas of which I speak need to be in control to the nth degree, and they almost invariably create the very thing they are so on the lookout for. A sort of self fulfilling prophecy effect.
It would appear JA has engaged in this sort of relationship dynamic since HS.
I do not see him being aggressive enough, he is so petty, it is like watching two females in a catfight. Juan is going down on Jodi's level, heck Jodi is even wearing the pants, probably not a good idea for her. But Juan should stick to major points and not discussing different colors of blue.
I am really ready for Mr Martinez to go into the actual murder. I'm wondering how he can get her to talk about the stabbing. I just can't let that go. I'm not sure the Jury needs it, but It bothers me she skipped right over it.
That would be one question I'd have for her if I was a juror
HUGE difference is right what Jodi was involved in was without doubt one of the biggest sins there is..only second to murder..
There was nothing going on with this innocent woman that this psycho chose to throw under the bus today..we have the word of no one or nothing but a pathological lying psycho claiming there was inappropriate joking emails..
Point being the huge difference is one is a definite big time, very much looked down upon sin and the other is a fabricated lie from a psycho..yep, you're right, HUGE DIFFERENCE!

pasa just posted some notes
**I think** (based on what she was saying about this afternoon) that court was not recessed because of the lunch issue..it was something else..
(the lunch came up after the jury was dismissed and after her question if the lawyers had anything else they needed addressed today)
Someone earlier posted the afternoon youtube.....I was watching the link on friends computer and crashed. cannot locate. Can you repost please.
Also, was just at the part where it is coming into focus about Antarctica. Interesting how the going to each others funeral fell apart....and all was conjured just by her one time asking him to give her eulogy as he was a good public speaker! That was mentioned by her as he would go to hers ......but now........ nope! Also, didn't Travis say in one of his angry last emails something about you need to move to Antarctica or something like that.

Travis and I were very good friends, Shannon explained. I met him through Pre-Paid Legal and through church too, although we were in different wards and we were not dating.
Shannon told RadarOnline.com that she and Travis became friends while he was living in California and admitted that they had one romantic encounter.
I was going through a divorce from an alcoholic, an angry alcoholic, and Travis really helped me get through that. We never dated but we kissed one time
Why didn't Nurmi pull a candy bar out of his pocket (you know he has candy somewhere) and give it to looooong-suffering, starving JA? Pffffffft!
They are replaying the "brain scramble" testimony on HLN and I swear to gosh she tried her hardest not to smile after she said it. It's a faint micro smile but it's there!
(Respectfully snipped)
Does that mean that - strictly speaking from the victim's/victim's family's perspective, wouldn't LWOP be a relief? No appeals (except, as you've said before there is a risk of appeal even with the DP to have the sentence reduced to LWP or even less!)
Please understand - I am NOT arguing anything on this, I'm just curious and value your comments for the obvious reasons - and wish you were never given a reason to know so much.
I guess it's probably different in every case - people are different. I can't imagine having to deal with the appeals process and the murderer of one's family member again and again.
