The appellate attorneys I know wouldn't see much point, as a rule. If something doesn't end up in the official trial transcript it "didn't happen" for purposes of appeals. (I'm sure there's some exception where video proved the official transcript was in error, but basically...)

TY. I guess I'm thinking about fame hungry attorneys who might want to swoop in and represent her in that process, should it come to that (god willing.. even though I'm an atheist). It seems so likely there will be a conviction, maybe an appellate attorney is following along at home or work with an interest and will jump at the chance to get involved down the road.

The inmates are provided 2600 calories per day.
According to the guard @ Estrella NG interviewed, they are allowed to bring their b-fast or whatever leftovers to the courthouse with them.
I don't see the problem.

Is Nurmi too cheap to buy her a Big Mac and smuggle it in his pocket??

(Emphasis added.) Damn, some people are easily offended!

Jodi Arias is still presumed not guilty in the eyes of the law. The notion that she should have three moderate meals a day during the most stressful event of her life is not an extreme one. Jeeze!

This is not a guilty/not trial. Jodi has already pleaded guilty. The trial is to decide the DEGREE of guilt.

YES I wondered about this days ago..why not ask her why she told Gus Searcy that Travis would make such a wonderful husband and father if she thought he was a pedo?

Exactly.. And I feel 100% sure no person stays with a man that is a pedophile that you were just dating and even broke up with, least of all continue to have any sexual relations with him.

The only time I have ever heard or known of a woman staying with a man was a married woman on occasion and they are married decades with kids and the husband was molesting the kids and she suspected or turned her back on it.

But I have yet to hear a single guy and a single woman and she walks in on these things, passes the angel statue on the dresser (she had to mention that, or turned the angel so she won't watch Travis) and she then left.

I don't believe her because it didn't happen.

Jodi On Cross and what has been accomplished by the Prosecution:
Day 1 - Proved she was NOT physically abused, no broken finger etc
Day 2 - Proved she is a complete LIAR
Day 3 - Proved she was NOT humiliated nor abused sexually
Day 4- I believe details of the murder and the God awful crime scene photos
Day 5 - Juan passes the killer back to her DT

Yes, I watched her count down the stab wounds. IMO she counted too fast but it still took about 20 seconds. I think JM should bring in a dummy to stab, take a long knife and physically stab all twenty-nine times, slice the throat of the dummy, then drag the heavy dummy the same distance Jodi dragged Travis, then finish with pulling the trigger on a pistol pointed at the head of the dummy....and time it.

There are 2 pictures of him being dragged. If I remember correctly, there's more time between those 2 pictures than from the 'last alive' to the dragging picture.

So it took her longer to drag him than it did to kill him and it all STILL happened in,what? 2 minutes and something? FAST.

WOOOOO.. Nancy Grace just had a fella on re: busting Jodi's claim.... Time stamps on crime scene photos prove jodi's claim is a lie... Drop camera, body slam, run down hall, climb shelves, get gun, go to bathroom, tackle, shoot....... but sweet jodi.... the camera doesn't lie.... look at what's happening in the photos and time stamps!!!!! Ohhhh she's BUSTED BIG TIME!
I know it's macabre but how I wish that camera would have snapped killer/defendant Jodi right in the middle of the horrific act.

Someone can throw her a Cinnabon. Heck why is it so hard to toss her a bag of chips or something and get on with the trial. I wonder if they asked about this, are they not allowed to throw her food? Do they eat in front of her?

True... however I feel a female would "tap deeper into" Jodi's inner female (moon) side. I know that sounds weird but they are not at all on the same level and his pounding away like that could be causing the juror to get bored, as I am.

I hope the jurors aren't thinking that way with the firm, set stereotypical thinking when it comes to the involved parties, ie the victim and the defendant. That sort of thinking of narrow, established gender roles is really frightening to me both in and out of courtroom settings.

It has always bothered me: if JA premeditated, why did she choose to have sex with TA and photograph them both just before she killed him since that could end up incriminating her? Today it occurred to me that she may have planned it to be a murder-suicide, a way to bond them together forever in death so of course she would want to have sex with him one last time and memorialize it so everyone would finally know the true nature of their relationship (something he always hid from the world). The problem occurred when it was so difficult to kill Travis, and the cut to her hand probably "stung" (like the supposed razor cut in prison) and she couldn't go through with the suicide. Then she realized she had to try to get rid of the pictures.... etc. Doesn't explain the gas cans though!

Jodi would never kill herself.

Attorney: Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s lunch and sleep policies interfering with judicial process
Dr. Yasinski believes that the Sheriff’s lunch and sleep policies could have a direct impact on a trial.
“Over the course of days and weeks your brain can start to be poorly nourished. The memory, the cognition, the behavior all can change pretty drastically and can contribute to someone's performance in a courtroom as a defendant in terms of how they answer questions, their logical thinking can be impaired,” he said. “Jurors can perceive some of their agitated behavior as nervous or uncomfortable.”

Gronski said he plans to continue fighting the policies in Arizona’s court system.

Betcha Nurmi knew this and it's an act since it didn't start til today!!

It's been pointed out several times that it is a crime for the lawyer to give the defendant food.

Does Dr. Drew have producers? Why did they just devote 10 minutes to a "friend of Travis" who "had a bad feeling" but "saw Travis surrounded by angels"? Even if you believe in psychics and/or angels, how could the woman have said less?

I want to say that I'm kind of ambivalent on the subject.
It's a slippery slope.
If you're obsessively snooping on someone - that's a problem and you need some help.
On the other hand if you google and search court records for some guy you're falling for - that might be a good idea.
I think hacking is definitely crossing a line.

Being smart and careful over a prospective or potential partner is a whole different issue imv. Heck, I put the man I eventually fell in love with through the proverbial wringer before I'd fly to his coast and go on a date. :)

I talked to family members and colleagues, insisted on a negative AIDS/HIV test - and had he not been humorous and agreeable about all of it (I brought these things up in a humorous way - which helped make it seem less awkward) it would have been a red flag for me. I didn't ask him anything so personal (other than the blood test - which he could have refused - we just would never be intimate) as to insult him... at least he didn't think so.

That's not snooping - he actually liked the fact that I wasn't careless about him or myself. He respected that. His friends thought it was a hoot and were delighted to vouch for their friend. :)

Still - there are no guarantees. But snooping will never make things better. Not imv.

Nice list.

I can't imagine how you could humiliate Jodi sexually. She's pretty much proven to the viewing world that she is shameless.

Didn't Nurmi say JA hadn't received lunch the last 2 days only?
