I thought the same kaki. I don't think he had any intention of visiting her. I think he was trying to appease her, and trying to keep her in CA away from him.
Maybe it was a combo of her realizing he was never going to actually come to CA, and finding out TA was taking another woman to Cancun, that sent her over the cliff.
Rose, it was day 22. I think Part 1, morning.
I think JM is playing an intricate chess game with her. All the talking heads want him to play something more straightforward and easier to follow. If he just asked questions..she would just lie or not answer or go to her script. He is keeping her off balance and guessing.
He is even playing to her narcisism.. Letting her correct him...like a cat playing with a mouse. I find it fascinating!
My worry though is who is on the jury? P12 types? He does need to tie everything together at some point and not assume the jury will figure it out and put all the pieces together.
I was wondering if Travis was really ever planning to go see her as he said on the sex tape... Was he just saying that to keep her content? She was spouting off all the things they would do in CA ..and he kind of didnt respond.
Can we all agree that this girl doesn't have all her marbles? Does she deserve to die?

I watched that again, and I think there are a lot of truths here. The woman ninja is Jodi, with the knife. She added the man with the gun because originally I believe she wanted the crime scene to appear there were two people there - one with a gun and one with the knife (her).
She's sticking to the story of "I didn't see anything" on the stand by saying she now doesn't remember. But in her interrogation she does say she heard the gun shot and there was blood everywhere. I also believe that she is reliving the scene where Travis is screaming - which IMHO obviously happened when one is being attacked.
She is merely making up charachters, when in fact she's talking about herself. I did notice that she said she was touching Travis's back, which is how she is explaining (outside her mind) that she was not touching, she was stabbing.
It's interesting if you break down her statements and compare it to what she's been saying on the stand.
MOO of course.

Yes, she deserves death. I don't know about the marbles part but she knew the difference between right and wrong and chose to murder Travis in cold blood.
ITA--I noticed she looked depressed and defeated when Juan asked the court reporter to read back the question--it took the wind right out of her sails.
