Why is this even such a long trial? She killed him on camera and then erased the photo card and threw it in the washing machine thinking she'd break it. But they were a ble to retrieve the pix after all. She's so freaking busted? Why is this all drawn out?

Noticed that also. She is in a courtroom, a jury of strangers who will decide if she lives or dies, and she knows the media is taping the trial. She is not the least bit embarrassed as most people would be. The one ex-girlfriend of Travis' was the exact opposite; talking about it was almost painfully embarrassing. JA does seem to be enjoying every moment.

Nope. She used "we" while describing the first leg of her trip from her sister's house to Monterey. She used the descriptor "we" twice while doing so.

This is the one and only reason that I think she is purposely throwing "we" out there every now and then. I believe she is hoping that at least one jury member will pick up on it to cause reasonable doubt.

I have been looking at this and trying to figure it out as well. Have seen a couple interpretations: the killers foot / black shoe and Travis' bloodied thigh / knee area (turn the photo upside down). I keep thinking it is as you are saying though, a cloth of some sort underneath his body that is soaked with blood. This because of what appear to be creases or wrinkles in the cloth. It's really hard to tell though.

I did notice in one of the trial photos a woman in the courtroom was holding up a rectangular piece of cloth with what appeared to be pinkish stains, had been apparently washed already. I wonder if that's what it was.

Was it the bathmat? All that blood right where Jodi was taking the shower photos from.

here's my take on the remote....I think....I know I have asked already two times if there was a dvd stolen at the same time as the gun, but I have not looked at what anyone has written (forgive me please) as threads were moving just too fast and then I had to turn over my laptop to my son for homework.....so...here goes...I think that JA had MM go to the g-parents home and steal the gun and the dvd player and to just go ahead and take the $40 for your trouble.....she goes to MM's gets the gun, gives DB or his little boy the dvd player as a gift, but forgets to give them the remote to it, so she needs to go back and do that.....this is my take on the remote.....now, I just gotta find out if a dvd player was actually taken from the g-parents home .......

I had the same impression. That she was goading him. But still,,,there is a jury here and they, like us, are probably saying WTF - Did she just say "we",,,Who is the second part of the "we"?

Also recall that Juan was pointing out inconsistencies in her rope story, between what she told on the stand and what she told Samuels.

I recall (IIRC) that Nurmi asked her to describe the rope and she couldn't so he showed her a picture and her response was 'yes that's it'.
Does any else recall that?

Regarding all this "we" talk...IIRC when JM had her add in that she stopped and stayed at MM's house. Didn't he also ask her if he went with her to DB's house or if she went alone? She did one of her pauses and Ummmmms to think about that answer and eventually said no. Now today she drops the "we". Accidental? Slip? Or...on purpose to tighten screws on MM bc she is smelling a rat?
