Jean C: "Travis had toned down."

Is that the correct wording for someone who's gotten in shape???

:)

I tone stuff down all the time for my nephews...

also "I'm going to kill you B...." along with the killer "a 5 year old could do it better" something along those lines---being compared to the five year old was bad---I did LOVE it when Juan acknowledged that she HAD said the "f" word before and made her say it in court.....

she did say the ehf word on direct...
however, she left the personal pronoun out of the testimony... she said Travis said "effing kill you, *****"...

I thought at first I saw tears but its hard to see with that mop of hair covering her face. But when she stood up I saw no tears.

But I agree..............I dont care if she cries buckets full. It will never compare to the real tears his family has shed because she ripped him from their lives.

IMO

With her funky finger .... She makes me ill

Isn't an attorney supposed to ask to approach the witness? Did'nt look good with Nurmi at her side attempting to console her with the jury still in the room. They should have left before he approached her.

Yes, and conveniently with the mic on.

He never even cussed at her when he called texted she was a sociopath or any of the times he was livid with her. I don't believe for a second he cussed at her over an alleged dropped camera.

I believe the camera dropped with stab one.....

He bungled heavily early this morning with his "shower shoot" questioning. Jodi was right and Juan was WRONG. Fact. She was indeed talking about a different photo shoot. And the thing is, it was totally unnecessary for Juan to beat this horse. Jodi was already willing to admit that she convinced him the second time too just that he needed less convincing, which she later acknowledged.

Fortunately for society she will either die by lethal injection or rott in a prison cell.

I was behind bc of a conference call but agree completely. He completely selected to omit that TA used the pic for his MySpace, therefore, from some time before.

I can't tell you how repulsed I was to actually agree with that creature about what she was explaining.:furious:

In Session, the woman talking to JC thinks it was unfair for the judge to call for the break.

Not really. A bungle yes, but not so dramatic as all that it's being made into.

I know many are questioning the authenticity of Jodi's tears. They are real. With that said, I can cry on cue. Actors and actresses do it every day. Actors and Actresses lie (in the sense that they are playing a role) every day, they portray lines that are not true to their own beings every day.

Yes, Jodi is crying. No, they are not tears for Travis. They are tears because it was the right time to cry.

I'm infuriated that the Judge played into it and took the lunch break. Jodi put herself in this position, even if she did kill TA in self defense (not a chance) she put herself in this position by lying about it for so long. It is no one's fault but Jodi's that we are all gathered around today discussing this. The Judge needs to stop coddling her. MOO

My sister wanted to be an actress when she was about 14 years old - I remember her sitting in a chair and practicing crying all the time. She was quite good at it.

Jodi has had four years to learn how to cry on cue.

JM's 1st question after break should be:
Did you eat anything for lunch?

Her answer would be "I don't remember":floorlaugh:

Not likely. Stabbing someone while holding a camera is a little far fetched. If she shot him first, then it's plausible.

For the knife first theory to work, the camera needs to be out of her hand.

So there was no strap on the camera...she wasn't using it...just holding it in her hand?

In reviewing the video that moonbird just posted....noticed before he called her an idiot.......today she added "effing" in front of the idiot comment.

later in the testimony, on the same day of direct, she changes it to "effing idiot" - several minutes later..

embellishing? seems that way.

So he shows her a crime scene photo and asks Mam where were you standing when you were taking pictures ? And she cracks just like that . Wow

I see Jodi's crying (or attempts to cry) today as being out of frustration. She killed this guy, lied about it for over 4 years, and now has been cross examined by Juan for several days.

She may be amping it up to obtain sympathy, but she's already admitted to killing him. I don't think it really matters if she cries or not.

And for women, crying can be caused by many emotions, so given what she is talking about, and the situation she is currently in (on trial for her life), I would actually be more surprised if she didn't show any emotion at all.

She also is not in control at this point, and that would be another factor adding to her frustration.

Regarding Jodi's crying on the stand, the defense would have prepped her for the showing of that picture, so imho, unless Jodi is an 'out of control' client for the defense, Jodi would have had in mind the entire time how the jury was perceiving her reaction.

I do think, too, that Jodi saying she had a 'morbid curiosity' to see Travis' death photos is quite creepy on many levels, particularly with her thinking of herself as a (professional level) Photographer, and us knowing fully well that she deliberately took death scene 'b4 and after' photos of Travis.

Thats your opinion and you are entitled to it but I agree with Beth Karas.....this is the best cross examination I have ever seen in over two decades of watching trials. My heart was pounding and I was on the edge of my seat. It is far better than any movie or tv show because it is REAL and Juan makes it so real.

Keep up the awesome cross Mr. Juanderful. You dont have the amazing win record you have for nuttin!:great:
