The tears are because she knows thats the typical reaction. She watched and learned how "normal" people react. She was not crying because she finally realized what happened...GMAB!

Based on the timestamp on the photographs, and the fact that such a brutal murder could occur in 2 minutes time, I have to wonder if this really WAS the first time she killed anyone, or if LE should be looking into unsolved murders of men and women (the jealousy issue) in the area.... hmmm....

I hope he goes through each wound with:
"So you don't remember if he was begging for his life after the first stab"? Through each and every wound. He was totally incapacitated very quickly but she raged on.

How could she have stabbed him first? Couldn't he fight back? She was a petite thing.

Her testimony is bogus.

No one would be screaming obscenities seconds after having their brain hit with a heavy dose of kinetic energy from a high velocity projectile. He'd be confused or dazed if not totally incapacitated. He would not have the clarity of mind to continue on with his anger toward Jodi.

Travis was shot from approximately 2 foot away, from the the right side, slightly behind and from above his forehead. The way she described it, it never happened. I love that Jodi said that was not where the casing landed because she said she was focused on Travis and after she shot him she doesn't remember anything. So how would she remember what happened to the shell casing???? jmo

Lucky for her it popped into her hand after the gun was knocked loose. Otherwise she may not have been able to nearly decapitate him in self defense.

right? I am still trying to figure out how suddenly when the gun failed to protect her (in her version) and he was f'ing gonna kill her, this knife just miraculously appeared. Where from? did it just poof, appear in her hand? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Sorry but have seen a couple of different things about where the exit wound was. I thought it was the jaw. Can anyone clear it up?

I was in his left cheek - no exit wound. Bullet went from right eyebrow to his left cheek, where the projectile remained and was seen on x-rays of his face

So Jinkasauras has apparently done a 180 and now thinks Jodi is a murderer

She must have heard how many people think she was not thinking correctly! :D

I wish HLN would stop talking about her "breaking down" because that was ALL fake!

They do that all the time and it ticks me off. She faked breaking down and HLN seems to fall for it.

so true.. that just doesn't happen. The most I know of head gun shot wound victims would be moaning, screaming, holding head, maybe crawling on the floor and this is minutes before they pass out or die.

In your more unique cases of gunshot, drive by? in the car, they can make their way to E.R. if they are strapped in and seated, and foot on accelerator, mostly they crash. If its a head grazing wound they can do it

Through the brain in any way I would say no. They can move, moan, but no purposeful movement and certainly no real words, talking, mostly scream yell then quiet or moan.. You are too dazed.

shot to the head in the way he had, he would NEVER get up again to go after her. He might pull up against a sink and fall.. just clumsy stuff if any.

but the M. E. report of no blood in the brain, blows her out of the water, he would bleed.

Her original account is far closer to the truth.

In it, he was on all fours, doing something with his head while screaming and in shock.

This defense lawyer is a mental midget. How about she stabbed him in the back first?

someone just responded to my RT
"Travis cannot be in court to wave at his family".

WTF? :waitasec:

ETA: Thanks for the tweets!

Thanks - I missed that - I was shaking too much. Juan has me scared, even if he doesn't scare Arias!!!

I luv me some Juan, but I don't know why he reminds me of Joe Pesci in my Cousin Vinny for some reason:blushing:

Head wounds bleed a lot, even if small. Blood would have been spurting out and probably all over Jodi so no way she didn't see blood.

The bullet was in his left cheek.

It sickens me how she has made all of this up.

I wish Travis had been able to take her down but sadly he never had a chance.:(

That right there. Where she has hung herself, IS that if in fact she had shot him like that and he is alive and mad, She is the one who ends up dead. He would have probably fought for his life and killed her.

But She set him up in a way to kill him in a vulnerable position. Sitting down in the shower.
She stabbed him and he is reaching up trying to defend himself she just keeps stabbing. That makes sense to me.

Do they know what actually killed him?

Man is this lady TH on HLN about as insightful as a pile of rocks.

When trial is over for the day, back to no more HLN for the Pawprints!

Are any WS'ers appearing on any of the shows?

Well, we don't bite very hard.

It's all going to be in their perception how hard we bite.

BTW, if you aren't using your eyes or ears, how do you perceive what someone else in the room is doing?
