Because she liked it. What's the mystery?

There is no mystery as to why killers pose their victims and photograph them. It's for the trophies.

Going a little deeper, I had a conversation with my son and he said that just killing someone is not very satisfying unless they see it coming and know that it's you who is ending their life.

He further said that shuts them (victims) up from laughing at him.

My conclusion is that the normal desire for respect is projected as anger and ultimately a willingness to accept fear as an acceptable substitute for respect.

As it applies to Arias, Travis disrespected her and she had to see the fear in his eyes and record that. In addition, she had to document how he paid for disrespecting her and also to show her power over a beautiful man. She destroyed him and wants to savor the feeling.

Her desire to become a "responsible" gun owner ought to warrant them locking her up and throwing away the key....in the public interest.

When I first saw that pic it did look like his right leg is crossed over his left but his legs weren't crossed. It's an illusion of some kind since you can't see his left leg and part of his right knee doesn't show.

She was ready to tell the sequence of events during the murder - said she disagreed with the ME version. She was going to tell how the casing ended up on top of that blood pool. She would have told us anything today.

Why overkill? Rage + attempt to divert blame maybe.

I thought that was odd for her to say she disagreed with the sequence of events. You can't trust what she says and she likes to plant ideas in jurors minds, so I can see why Juan wanted to keep some control of her answers.

Sure wish she was really remorseful, but she appears to have enjoyed the horror she accomplished.

Every time I see these pics I see something new.

but as you probably already know, I think this is right after she shot him, imo.

Today, they mentioned the bad framing on this shot. But most of the shots were poorly done. She was obviously very distracted during the photo session.

Having seen some of her other pictures she was no photographer. They were all pretty much badly done.

I see a lot of you are commenting on the photos of her killing/dragging TA's dead body and how they could have been taken and I have a theory.... Could it be that because she didn't know how to work his new camera yet, that somehow the timer got activated during the whole chaotic scam photo shoot and during the struggle? TA did say during the phone sex call that he could set the timer on his camera to take pics of them engaged in the sexual tryst in the woods so we do know then that a timer was a feature that came with his camera? It seems that somehow the timer got activated (JA didn't mean it to happen obviously) and JA didn't know this and while attacking/struggling with TA the camera ended up on the floor where it kept taking pics. I think that it had gotten kicked and moved around in the madness of it all and that's why it shows pics in different locations...? Just a thought?

I think JM is limited in how he explains the shower pictures because he is wedded to the knife being used first.

If she's not holding a gun on him, then she is not really controlling him. Yet it looks like he is being controlled to me. I don't think she could control him with a knife. But if she is holding a gun on him, then why would she strike first with a knife instead of the gun?

So what is he going to say about them? He has to leave it up to the Jury and I doubt the Jury is going to take the time to figure it out.

Also, about JA "breaking down/crying" on the stand.... That whole thing was a TOTAL act. I have a big screen HD tv that picks up every little detail and I made sure to pay real close attention to her cheeks for tears/wetness when she was supposedly sobbing on the stand and never once seen a drop of anything. She made sure to cover her face with her hands the entire time but messed up and showed her cheeks once in awhile when she would go for another tissue. Also, if you notice she left a little hole between her hands that she was able to peek out from so she could see if anyone was buying her BS.... She did this same sort of thing during the first few days of the trial when JM showed the pics of TA when he was dead in the shower and when she was dragging his dead body down the hallway. She acted then like she was covering her face but there was a little gap you could tell she was peeking out from to actually get a look at the pics. The sad thing is is that idk if the jury was able to see this as she made sure to let the side of her hair curtains that was closest to the jury drape down and cover her face... Also, you could totally tell she was faking crying when she said something to the effect of "you mean his testimony?" in response to something JM was asking. The tone of her voice when saying this was completely different from what would be expected if she was sobbing. I'm hoping that the jury caught a quick glimpse of how she was able to quickly recover right after the worst of the pics were shown &/or as soon as court was dismissed for lunch break/break... Her attempt at being remorseful about what she did was so fake and so obvious; it's insulting to everyone's intelligence that she would even think to try it.

That would be her version of the events and her fantasy to save her butt. So she was cut off.. She needs to be asked and drilled on specific questions she avoided for years, since she has such a bad memory problem.

I believe when JA said she didn't think TA had shaved at all the day, then JM shows a pic of TA in the shower clean shaven proves that JA was not there when he shaved which proves to me she left and came back...

Thats interesting. that was another one of those bread crumbs he didn't follow up on. Maybe she was just in the downstairs office riffling through his emails. He must have a way in his mind to put all these things together. I hope he shows us what it is.

Lordy, I feel like I've been through the wringer and I'm just WATCHING this!

1) I am now officially a Juanette.

2) Having Juan walk through the crime has scratched a number of itches for me.

I see clearly how he has been handling this beautifully from the very beginning. First he showed the Jury her arrogance and aggressiveness by confronting her first. Then he showed her delight in her sexual prowess and nullified her claims to be the victim of a pervert. He restored the reputation of Travis Alexander. And today--oh, Sweet Today, he walked her through the crime and made her face what she has done.

And as she is crying, I can assure you her mental state is, "I am going to die for this."

Maybe...just maybe my confidence in the judicial system will be restored. I have to confess that I was traumatized by the OJ trial outcome and have been unable to watch another trial since Murderess Casey Anthony was set free. I only started watching this one because, thanks to Buddhist therapy, I am able to detach much better and maintain some personal equilibrium.

Thanks for having me on WS. I feel like I am among friends who share a common interest in seeing justice survive in America.

I think the camera was on auto to take pics every few seconds or minutes, depending on the camera. If kicked around, you get what you see. You can't lie about what was caputred.
