I asked my mechanic if it would be possible for a girl to slash a tire. When you think slash it would be like carving a steak. Most likely it was just punctured. Pointed end of knife pushed in the sidewall. A girl could do this. Experience would help.

Did he look at you kinda funny like...why am I being asked this question?

:escape:

Ha!

Move to mistrial: Several of the jurors have become catatonic.

I'm pretty sure I've heard from HER mouth or atleast agreeing with JM that she realized Travis wasn't going to marry her.

" I can't quite put my finger on it, but something is off with that boy"

Doesn't that say she has no idea what is off? Now Nurmi is trying to say this is her way of referring to his pedophilia. Ya right.

Just step back and forget everything about this case and assume you're going to visit your ex! boyfriend for a day or so, supposedly to have a nice time with him while you're on vacation, and maybe rekindle your relationship. A physical altercation is presumably the last thing on your mind, never mind actually KILLING him. But then the unspeakable actually happens! After a nice day, out of nowhere, this monster suddenly attacks you (for dropping a camera onto a rug) and is trying to kill you! You run and get a gun that you don't even know is loaded, and it accidentally goes off and you shoot him in the head! But he doesn't drop--like the Terminator, he continues after you and you're forced to stab him with a knife you conveniently find, until he finally stops moving. How would you react?

Don't you run around for minutes totally out of your mind screaming "OMG" a thousand times, in utter disbelief about what's just transpired? You've probably just KILLED your boyfriend with your own two hands! Don't you toss the gun/knife down in disgust, run out of this bloody room, and call 911 (maybe they can still save him!), shaking and whimpering like a baby until the police and ambulance come?

[of course, in the real world and not jodi-bizarro-universe, your boyfriend has dropped after being shot in the head--if you shot him first. it's hard to comment on any of this story because you never know if your starting point is a lie.]

Jodi's story makes no sense. We're supposed to believe that because of those previous instances of undocumented "physical abuse" and their consensual sex life, she responds to this unexpected altercation by both blacking out AND overkilling him, tries to clean the crime scene (bizarre), disposes of the weapons, hides her trail, tells multiple stories to police and media, etc. Never showing ANY hint of regret for killing her friend/lover. After planning a roadtrip that just happens to occur immediately before travis's trip to cancun, changing her hair color, using a weapon of the same caliber as her grandfather's gun, and buying gas in gas cans (in the state you say gas is more expensive) to "save money," yet spending money to rent a car when you own a lexus.

if jodi does not get convicted of premeditated first degree murder, the entire system needs to be reexamined. the casey anthony verdict was shocking enough. this would be just beyond belief. it would just prove that if you can make your lies dense enough, so they can't be easily unwoven, and you find a defense teams that's willing to support and enhance your lies, you can literally get away with murder

Why is he talking about her not wanting to marry Travis when from what I understood Travis dumped her? Doesn't make sense to me... Who cares if she would or would not marry him at that point?

  • #367
SHE ran away from home but Travis was not a family guy. Okay then!

  • #368
If Travis had even made a joke about proposing to her she would have been picking out a ring and china patterns before he got the words out.

  • #369
Didn't anyone point out yesterday that one of her journal entries begins with, "It's a good thing nobody else reads this...", but now we're supposed to believe that she let Travis read her journal?

  • #370
Radar is done for me.....I read the posts here instead of watch..".it will make this nurmi and Jodi nonsense bearable .

:fence:

  • #371
don't "worry" jodi - you will NEVER have children.

  • #372
I can only imagine what Travis said over the phone that Jodi mistook as a proposal of marriage. Something about pop rocks probably.

Or at Christmas, he said "Merry Christmas". That is the only merry he probably ever said to her! :gavel:

I still do not understand WTF any of this has to do with the murder!! It doesn't matter if she felt used, it doesn't matter if she thought they were going to get married and live happily ever after. Why is she allowed to continue to try and detroy a dead man's memory in the name of defending herself? NONE of this has anything to do with the murder!

  • #374
She is worried about having children with him???:what: I have no words. I just laughed when she said that.

  • #375
She says she never wrote anything negative in her journal and yet she just read out loud that she thought there was something wrong with him.

Doesn't jive!!! She uses negative entries when it suits her but the omission of negative entries -according to her- means nothing?? Whatever.

I agree. Psychopaths are like rabid dogs and their targets bones. They don't and won't relinquish their targets until and unless they decide to (usually because they've located a new target), or are refrained from doing so through incarceration or death.

If they're bent on their target's destruction they will do anything in their power to ensure such. Jodi's denigration of Travis even after his death is a very clear example.

Could not agree more. She chose to terminate Travis. Her new Target, Ryan didn't need to hear any "lies" or "gossip" from Travis. She figured if there were no receipts of her being in Arizona she could get away with it.. Luckily Travis fought hard and there was not enough time to clean up the crime scene

  • #378
No ---she acts like she is between 10 to 12...She has never emerged from the early pubescent stage in her thinking----romantic or otherwise

  • #379
Good Grief, she even lied to her journal! There is no WAY TA ever wanted to marry JA, not a chance ever. I will never be convinced otherwise.

  • #380
OMG!!!!! He proposed?? LIAR!!

And she couldn't marry him because she couldn't have children with someone with his "issue." Because she would worry about her children. ::eyeroll::
