I can't blame him. She was pestering the heck out of him and would not leave him alone.
When he ignored her she kept at it until he responded back to her. MOO IMHO etc. :-)

It seems like Nurmi is picking and choosing what texts to show. Wonder what the in-between texts said, and if JM will bring those out.

he didn't cuss at her. He used the word "freaking" instead of the f-word. So she's lying about him cursing at her. He wanted to get rid of her sorry arss....

Grrrrrrr.....

He wants her to leave him alone! He's asking her. She was such a drama queen. He was trying to get her out of his life... he just didn't know how. :(

LOL @ bragging to her friend about him. Was he cool and awesome, or an abusive pedophile?

It really bothers me that there are people out there who seem to think that the responsibility for the dynamics of their "relationship" falls completely on Travis. Jodi is an ADULT woman and is just as capable of making the decision to walk away vs. continuing to pursue a man she knows has no interest in a future with her. It goes both ways!

Yes, maybe Travis was using her for sex. Ok. Well, Jodi was using sex to try and stay close to him. Maybe she did think that he would change his mind and "fall" for her, but she could've given up and stopped having sex with him at any time. She even says in her letter that she knew he liked his "bachelor status" or something along those lines. She also says that she's not his "secret lover" but a FRIEND. It seems clear to me that she knew where he stood, but made the CHOICE to continue a sexual relationship with him.

Why is it TA's responsibility to end it out of concern for her feelings? For all we know, he tried and she told him she was good with how things were between them. Anyway, my point is, it went both ways and I don't think it's fair to place the blame on one side.

IMO, he was not as emotionally invoved as Jodi, much easier to end a relationship. He should have ended it. Jodi was not strong enough emotionally but Travis was. She was the mouse that T pawed, clawed and tossed into the air. T got off on toying with herjust like a cat. If you have ever beeen in love, you would know how difficult if not impossible for you to end it. I was lucky that when I was in that situation, the guy was noble enough to end it even tho' sex still great.

Travis said "he doesn't ever want to get another freaking text from #JodiArias again unless it's an apology" March 30th 2008.

So the defense thinks that showing texts of TA telling her to stay away from him some how helps them? :waitasec:

  • #335
If those texts are legit then it is obvious Travis was telling her to leave him alone!! Thank you Defense...you still have nothing!

  • #336
Sound like Travis was soooo sick of her Shhhhhttt...how does this help the defense?

  • #337
In the phone tape, she said she just got her Brazilian. Isn't that the "landing strip" style? Not completely hairless, iirc.

No, Brazilian is completely void of hair.

  • #338
Well, so far, he's just told her to just leave him alone since she says she's tired of him, and that he's sick of her endless drama.

And the defense thinks this helps how???

  • #339
Vinnie on IS says he thinks today is the day and Jodi knows it. What if the defense doesn't cover the day of the murder?

Good, if they don't. Then we'll get Juan's version of it. Or rather, what he gets out of Jodi.
