don't argue with your attorney. He wants you to say A and you say B

lord...

Couldnt something had been said back there that made them laugh. They are only humans. Why cant they laugh?

I really think the comments about JA family shouldnt be. IMOO they could not help what she did. I feel bad for them. Not JA by any means.

They are sitting in front of a jury and sometimes there reactions are inappropriate. So much so the judge warned the gallery about the laughing. It's only one side that is doing that. Makes them appear insensitive to the reason they are sitting there both for their daughter and the victim's family. jmo

I'm NOT blaming him but to act like he did absolutely everything in his power to get rid of her when he didn't for whatever reason is the point i'm trying to make.

I don't know if calling the police would have worked etc. but you don't mess around with some this dangerous.

I'm out of here.

Reverse the genders and were not even having this discussion. IMO

That's exactly what I did. By court order he has to have my address though because he is only allowed to write to our children. Because of his criminal convictions its unlikely he'd be able to procure a passport.

4,944 miles and an ocean. And no, there's really not a time I still don't fear him somewhere in my consciousness. Some days are better than others.

I'm so sorry for all you went through. So despite "disappearing" you still live in fear. That's awful,

Nurmi is able to tell her what answers he wants to hear, then be objected to, objection sustained, then form that statement into a question for her to answer as she was just directed to answer. There is something wrong with that.

  • #746
NUrmi is completely shaping the story and leading. Unbelievable.

  • #747
HA HA HA. Witness did not take the bait and didn't testify the way he wanted her to. About being back in the fog after Travis said she was beautiful.

  • #748
Now I've heard it all! It made HER feel better about associating with HIM. Yeah right.

  • #749
Have we arrived at May 10th, for real?

  • #750
Wake me up when they get closer to June 2008....

  • #751
did he just say May 2008?????

  • #752
GET A JOB, AND PAY ME BACK!

There we have it folks

I still say that Check of hers that was found in his desk was how she was able to get in the front door...Other wise, I doubt Travis would allowed her to even come to his house. SHE forgot to get it back before she left after she killed him.

Now, we're on a May 10th Text.
This jumping around is ridiculous.

Good morning all! Long time lurking through these threads, y'all have made listening to this woman more bearable! I can't quite see anything other than poor Travis having about enough of her drama in all these texts today... Loved that he told her to hurry it up a bit. Wish someone would hurry this direct up a bit.

His poor family in that courtroom, I don't know how they can keep so stoic while listening to all of this nonsense being blown out of context.

And o/t... I love everyone's avatars! Such darling pets!

If I'm on the jury at this point I'm so sick of this boring testimony dayAfterdayAfterdayAfter day I would consider doing something to get myself kicked off the jury.

My boss is gone today so I'm finally able to watch! I wonder why she keeps touching her face like she's hot or flushed?

Stroking the face/neck is a self-comforting gesture.

He had to come up with some reliable strategy to get his client to answer him appropriately.:floorlaugh:
