Yes. The judge speculated in her ruling keeping it on the table, that it could be if she broke into Travis' home. But the state had a other reason, I think it was she could have been assaulting him (not intending to murder), but her died as a result.

Someone on the legal thread explained it.

Basically, as I understand it, it is aback-up plan so that if the jury does not find premeditated murder, they can still find felony murder and sentence her to life, instead of finding her guilty of a lesser-included (which would be less than life).

It's a common urban legend. I believe they did a study on it and found that it was untrue. Red cars were pulled over no more than any other color car. IIRC

Not sure about color, but I can guarantee if you get a camaro, you will get pulled over more frequently. Tested + Verfiied by me.

If she was really so concerned of the price of gas she should have actually BOUGHT more gas cans. What is 10 gallons of gas going to make a difference ... oh except have fuel to commit a murder and not have to stop for gas in said state murder was committed..

Because gas was so expensive in CA, so she filled up the gas cans in CA :floorlaugh: before driving to NV and UT where it would have been cheaper.
